Smith Lake Cabin with Pontoon 3 Miles from Town

Welcome to Smith Lake! Recently remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin on Smith Lake with Pontoon and only minutes from town. This property has a nice lake lot that has low elevation and nice frontage. Smith lake is 323 acres with a maximum depth of 31 ft. and specializes in blue gill, crappie, northern pike, large mouth bass and walleye. Smith Lake is a great recreational lake being small enough to not have a lot of traffic but big enough to enjoy all lake recreation. The lake has a very nice Northwoods feel and is close to town allowing for easy access for your needs.

Interior Features- High Speed Internet, WiFi TV with Youtube TV, DVD Player with DVD's, AC and Heat, 2 Bedrooms with Queen Beds, Couch with Hidabed, Gas Stove, Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Crock Pot and Refrigerator(Dishes and Utensils included).

Exterior Features- 110' of private frontage, Sandy Beach Area(on right side of dock), Gas Grill, 10x20' Deck with Table, Firepit, Pontoon, 40' Private Dock, On Site Garbage and Recycling.

Boat's- 18' Northwoods pontoon with 40hp Honda 4 Stroke Fuel Injected Motor. Anchor, Depth Finder, 8 Adult life jackets and Throw cushion are included. The Pontoon will be in the water from ice out until October 31st every season.

We had the most amazing time the cabin was so clean and all new updates with everything on site for cooking grilling etc directly on the water and the pontoon was an amazing plus the weather wasn’t great but that’s expected this time of year the beds were so comfy to and the owners were so sweet ! We will 1,0000% be back again !

This is the second time my husband and I have rented this cozy cabin. It has everything you need plus the pontoon is perfect and runs great! Fishing was good and the fish finder is very helpful. We will be back again

Our family stayed here for 4 nights in the summer. It was just big enough for our family of 5. We enjoyed the convenient location, a few minutes from Hayward with access to things to do, eat, and see. We also enjoyed the quiet, peaceful lake and easy access to water. The kids (ages 5, 9, 11) had fun at the public beach on the south side of the lake as well. We also checked out the nature trail by the public library down the road, and would recommend that to younger families or anyone who enjoys nature.The pontoon worked great, we fished numerous times during our stay. We even made a day trip to Duluth during our stay. Communication with Jon and Andrea was excellent, we would stay again. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!

Bad Weather still a great time

We had a great time at Jon and Andrea's cabin. Bed was comfy, kitchen well stocked and very easy to move around in. We enjoyed a little time in the pontoon boat each day except for one, rain. Charming cabin on the water front

Cabin was adorable, clean, close to town, host was very friendly and easy to reach when we had questions. Lake was beautiful and the provided pontoon was great to have for cruising on the water or doing a little fishing.

beautiful cozy cabin

We loved the newly remodeled cabin and the pontoon boat was an added plus and the reason we rented. We love to fish and just enjoy being on the water. The cabin owners were very accomodating and we would recommend this cabin for to anyone who likes to fish and enjoy the water. The location was also great for running into town for any needs.

After moving to the twin cities I realized that I needed a getaway which led me to the Hayward area. After enjoying the area for years we loved it so much that we decided to live here full time. This property is one of my favorite and has just a great feel to it. I hope your family will like this property as much as we do, and that it brings you and your family great memories.

This property is one of the original Smith lake Resort Cabins that we have brought back to life. It is on a great lot, great lake and has awesome views. I believe anyone renting will fall in love with the cabin and lake. Being close to town makes it a quick easy task to go in for supplies.
