Bedroom 2; twin beds plus large (2 door) wardrobe. Bedroom 3; bunk beds and pullout single mattress, plus large, deep 4 drawer chest. Master bathroom; 2 sinks, bath and shower. Separate WC. Large living area; with sofa seating for 5, a sofa bed and entertainment centre (HiFi, TV and DVD player). Dining area; large table and seating for 8+. Kitchen; cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Hall area; with boot, coat and extra storage space. Large balcony area; with table and chairs.

Fantastic Apartment in great location

We love Morillon and this apartment, everything you need, no hassle, great location for a family, 2 good bars/pubs with 4 or 5 good restaurants and easy access to the ski lifts.

Fantastic ski apartment in a great resort

Just returned from a fantastic week of skiing. Despite the snow being really poor this year the resort kept almost all runs open and in great condition. The apartment benefits from being close to the pistes and a very short easy walk. The communication was second to none both with Penny and the concierge, who sorted our keys etc as we arrived late due to delayed flight then luggage not arriving. The apartment is well equipped and spacious, with a great kitchen, large dining table and sitting area. The rooms are all clean and tidy, with everything you need. The location really is great, very close to pub, boulangerie and supermarket, plus several ski rental shops. I really hope we’ll return as it’s a great resort and ski area (especially with fresh powder like we had on the final two days!) Thanks a lot Penny, it’s a great place you have. Paul

Heerlijke locatie met een mooi skigebied. Schoonmaak kon wat beter en helaas werkt de afzuiginstallatie niet/niet goed, waardoor er van andere appartementen alllerlei geuren binnenkwamen.

Vacances en famille

L'appartement de Penny est idéal pour des vacances en famille avec ses 3 chambres et 2 salle de bain. Il est bien agencé et très bien situé dans la station. Le seul point négatif est le casier a ski qui n'est pas pratique du tout. C'est très étroit et on ne peut pas y laisser les chaussures.

Goed verblijf

Ruim appartement voor 6 personen. Badkamers zijn prima. Bedden en meubilair zijn toe aan een upgrade. In de winter helaas geen zon op balkon. Schoonmaak: keuken was niet echt schoon, de vloer plakte. Locatie: Supermarktje, bakker en sportwinkels heel dichtbij Skiliften op loopafstand. Bij voldoende sneeuw ski-in/ski-out. We hebben een goed verblijf gehad.

Agréable appartement

Très joli appartement, confortable et à quelques mètres des pistes de ski. Il manque peut-être quelques couverts pour une location pour 8 personnes. Une machine à laver serait un plus ainsi que des rideaux plus épais. Merci à Penny pour ses réponses rapides et ses conseils. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Bel emplacement et bel appartement

Fonctionnel / juste quelques assiettes et couverts de plus seraient souhaitable afin de ne pas être tjrs à faire la vaisselle après chaque repas // ménage de base fait mais bcp de poussière en arrivant / je le recommande malgré tout et agence et propriétaire très disponible et sympathique // donc très bien dans l ensemble

Perfect stay

Nice appartment, well equipped and centrally located near the backery, supermarket, rental store and the slopes and restaurant. Magestic view on the valley and mountains from the north facing balcony. I'd love to come again.

Excellent convenient for good safe skiing

Clean, well-equipped, comfortable, 2nd floor, resort apartment - 3xtwin bedrooms (also double sofa bed), ideal for excellent skiing, close to ski lifts (to Massif area) - adjacent to excellent green + blue runs back to apartment (many 3yr+ children). Ski locker room (tip: take own mini-padlocks). Next to good dubutante slope, travelator, button lift + tuition (various grades - available in English). Convenient well stocked self-catering shop. V. close to bakery, take-away pizza, ski shops, post box etc. Busy restaurants (tip: book on arrival in hols). Car park nearby (tip: limited space in school hols - arrive early'ish). Cabine lift (10min) to/from Morillon village/bus stop (tip: pre-book Skibus to/from Cluses/TGV €5.50 - website in French - also offers discount ski hire). Eurostar/TGV cheaper than flights to/from UK. Would revisit with granddaughters!

Excellent stay in beautiful resort.

Our Australian cousins joined us for this wonderful ten days in our favourite ski resort and they definitely want to return! This apartment was new to us but we found it to be all we could have wished for. Clean, comfortable and well equipped, in the centre of the village with direct access to the slopes, and with the added bonus of the indoor pool and sauna, etc. We know the area well and this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The owner Penny was pleasant and friendly and very eager to please. The on-site management team were also very efficient. Altogether we had a fabulous holiday and will most definitely be using this apartment again.

Fantastic position in Morillon 1100

The apartment was absolutely perfect and had everything you could need for a great week skiing. We rented the apartment as 2 families (both with children aged 10 and 8) and everyone easily fitted in with plenty of space for eating and relaxing. The apartment was clean, beds and bedding warm and comfortable. A very convenient ski room also meant not having carry ski gear back to the apartment. We met the owners on our holiday and they were extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to give us useful information regarding ski runs and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this apartment, thanks Penny!

Lovely family apartment

The apartment was spacious and well laid out, more than adequate for our family of four plus granny. Our children loved doing the morning run to the patisserie and it was close to the main lift, ski hire and restaurants. The views over the valley were a bonus and the lift in the building was very welcome at the end of a long day skiing. The owner was extremely helpful in answering our queries and giving us information about the area (it was our first time in Morrillon) and we would thoroughly recommend this property.

Spot on

This was the third consecutive year in which our party of three adults has rented the apartment so we knew precisely what we were signing up for. Well appointed, warm and comfortable it has in particular a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and excellent showers. It also has a large and secure balcony which is a handy alternative to the fridge - assuming you stay in the winter months. The management company was very helpful and exchanged a cracked casserole dish without a problem. We drove from the UK and came provisioned for the week but we were able to buy the daily essentials from the local shops. ESF (ski school) and Intersport (ski hire) were also very helpful and provided a characteristically efficient service. We had to change a couple of pairs of boots and a pair of skis during the week but this took no more than five minutes and there was absolutely no quibble. The snow was plentiful and the pistes were first class. The apartment suits us perfectly and with the emphasis on skiing rather than night-life we recommend it unconditionally. We hope to return in 2015.

Second Stay

We enjoyed ourselves so much in 2012 that we simply had to return in 2013 for a repeat perfomance The appartment was as welcoming as ever and it took no time at all to make ourselves "at home" again. We drove from UK to Morillon and were therefore able to take most of our self catering requirements in the car. We topped up from the small supermarket and boulangerie in Les Esserts when necessary. The skiing was fantastic and the snow and weather perfect. InterSport who provided the ski hire were exceptionally friendly and helpful and also provided a 20% discount, as indeed they did last year, even though we hadn't pre-booked. In every respect it was a great week and we hope to return in 2014.

Cosy, comfy and convenient

We had a wonderful week in Morillon 1100 staying at this perfectly situated apartment. It had everything we needed and it was great to ski right to the door. The apartment was warm, spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped and the large fridge was ideal for a family (we had 9!) The balcony was a great as extra cold storage and we were able to bring in the table and chairs to seat us all on Christmas day. There is ski storage on the ground floor, but it is probably best to take your boots to the apartment as we had a brand new pair taken. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend this apartment and the resort as a perfect family area. We hope to get a chance to return in the future.

Getting over New Year blues - late January

The precise appartment block was a little difficult to find after hours and in the dark but the agency had deposited a key and map in a nearby bar which was helpful. The appartment was unfailingly warm, well maintained and equipped and since there were only three adults in the party there was a luxurious amount of space. The snow was excellent, the pistes exciting, well maintained and comparatively quiet so for a party of intermediate skiers like ours we could not have asked for more. We chose to drive from UK. Calais to Morillon is about 550 miles (via Reims - avoid Paris unless you know the route!), takes about eight and a half hours and costs about £60 each way in peages. We arrived well stocked for a one week stay but used the boulangerie and mini supermarket for fresh supplies; ideal. Would we go again and recommend it to friends - absolutely yes on both counts!
