Log cabin on 280 acre Sevier River Ranch - 25 mins to Bryce, 50 mins to Zion
The Wranglers Quarters @ Sevier River Ranch & Cattle Company is a private studio style log cabin located on a quiet 280 acre cattle ranch in Hatch, between Bryce Canyon (25 mins) and Zion National Park (50 mins).
The air conditioned Quarters are newly decorated with ranching antiques and consist of a main room with one California king bed, a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator and "Nespresso" style automatic espresso and coffee maker (no stove or cooking utensils) and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. It sleeps 2 people and is about the size of a large hotel room.
The private deck offers panoramic view across the ranch's pastures (where you may see cattle being herded by cowboys during the summer), the Sevier River winding through the ranch, and the Hatch valley. A charcoal BBQ is available for your use outside (charcoal not provided).
High speed Internet service (free wifi) and DirecTV satellite TV service are available.
The Wranglers Quarters are located next to the Ranch Hands Bunkhouse (sleeps 2 in 2 twin beds), available for rent via a separate listing. In the event you are renting only the Wranglers Quarters, please be advised that there may be 2 other guests staying at the Ranch Hands Bunkhouse simultaneously.
Should you need even more space for your group, you may consider renting the main Ranch House which sleeps 6 and is available via separate listing.
You will enjoy a good night rest in eery silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to!
The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests can roam freely on the ranch as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River.
We are always available to answer any questions or give you tips for daytrips or restaurants. We speak fluent French, German, Spanish and English. Do not hesitate to reach out with any question, prior or during your trip.
Whether you are looking to explore the natural wonders of the area (the Quarters are located between 2 of the most visited National Parks in the country) or whether you're an animal lover (there is cattle on the property during the summer, many deer roam on the property, you can watch a large array of birds right from the deck, and we have the biggest animal shelter in the US is 45 minutes away), the Quarters have it all.
The Wranglers Quarters are located on the Sevier River Ranch in Hatch, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations.
The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280 acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there are typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season
Note that there are no grocery stores in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Supercenter in Cedar City (1 hour).
There is no public transportation. You will need a car. 4x4 or high clearance is recommended in order to enjoy the surrounding trails, but a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Quarters themselves.
We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy.

Relaxing respite after full days of exploring this amazing area! More than met our needs. Wonderful!
Many thanks for the opportunity to stay in Wrangler’s Quarters on the Sevier River Cattle Ranch! While it was the smallest of the units (I think), it was perfect for my husband and me. The deck was wonderful for enjoying the scenery. I enjoyed bird watching on the property. Easy access to Bryce Canyon NP.
Quiet, peaceful ranch cabin overlooking the Sevier River Valley. Great location close to Bryce.
We would definitely stay here again!
Hard to fault - A lovely cabin with great views.
Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely view and setting. The cabin is in excellent condition, including characterful local furnishings. It's clearly maintained to the very highest standards.
Great place to explorer Bryce Canyon from, the night sky and stars were great and some local wild deer came within 20 feet of the kitchen window.
The hosts dropped by to check all was well and couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful.
Hi James, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and found beauty in the cabin as well as in the surrounding property. Very new, well decorated, clean log cabin with fantastic views of the valley below. Easy to find, use and get to. About 30 minutes from the park. Wonderful restaurant less than 1 mile, The Outlaw and you cook your own steak!
Hello, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. We are glad to hear that you found the property easy to access with beautiful views and a nice cabin! It sounds like you enjoyed The Outlaw as well - it truly is a fun and tasty place to eat! We thank you for staying with us and wish you a beautiful fall season! Perfect retreat after a day of hiking....
This is located just far enough away from the crowds at Bryce Canyon to let you relax and recoup for another day of exploring. The view is fantastic as you lay in your bed at night and gaze at the stars. We were greated upon our arrival by a beautiful black angus cow that had somehow managed to escape from the fenced in pasture. We nicknamed her Sally after our grand dog.. Lol. The cabin was very clean and decorated in western decor. We loved it and believe that you will too.
Hi Connie, We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, were able to stargaze, and made a new friend, Sally. Thank you for taking the time to leave this thoughtful review. We appreciate it very much! It would be an honor to host you again someday. Warmest wishes, Trynn - Assistant to Jean
Great Retreat for Quiet Evenings
My stay was very enjoyable and just what I was looking for; peace , quiet, nature and big sky. The room appointments were charming and the king sized bed was very comfy. I enjoyed spending early evenings on the outdoor deck watching the cattle and horses graze, and star gazing later at night. I would highly recommend this spot for folks who are looking for a relaxing end to busy days traveling to see the national parks and beauty of Utah.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this accommodation and its idyllic setting. We are glad you enjoyed the joys of nature and were happy to have you stay on the ranch. Have a beautiful rest of the summer!
