Welcome to our cottage in a lovely neighborhood with ocean glimpses. This beautiful Cape home is just 370 steps away from a private beach or less than a 5 minutes stroll to public Ocean Beach with it's boardwalk, pool, mini-golf and waterslides. Easy access to downtown New London, Niantic, Mystic, Stonington, Essex and other shore points in southeastern CT.

This large , 5 bedroom home offers off street parking for 4 cars, features a huge cook's kitchen with open plan dining, and provides two full bathrooms and one half bath.

Enclosed four season porch offers additional living area and another dining table with seating for 8-12. New 2nd floor deck added in 2020 with ocean views, table/umbrella and seating.

Situated in the private Neptune Park beach community, this house has access to a beautiful series of sugar sand beaches, with picturesque rock outcroppings and stunning views to Ledge Lighthouse and Long Island Sound.

Take a day trip aboard the ferry to beautiful Block Island, Fisher’s Island, or even Montauk, NY, eat at the numerous restaurants, enjoy hanging out on Bank Street in Connecticut's hippest town. Drive 20 minutes to the casinos, or visit Mystic for lunch, the aquarium or the seaport. Less than 10 minutes from Eugene O'neill Theatre and all the beauty Harkness Park provides!

Downstairs the front room contains a King bed. Upstairs the two front rooms with Ocean views are both queen beds. In the back right room there are two twins and in the back left room a twin bunk is on top with a queen bed below.

Nice house near the water

This house is great - very spacious, lovely furnishings, and all the things you could need. The weather was not so great during our visit, but it was still lovely to see the ocean out the window (we even saw a beautiful sunrise one morning) and the beach was nearby. The house is close to Mystic and other seaside towns which made it a good base to explore the area from.

Beautifully set home with anything you need. We stayed with three of our adult children, son-in-law, and three grandkids. Good memories to cherish. The home has everything you need; we enjoyed quiet moments on the upper deck, puzzle making on the front porch (and even finished it!), quick walks to the beach(es), fireworks on Friday night. Everything about this house is wonderful! It has everything from a more than complete kitchen to comfortable furniture and bedding. Everything you need to feel at home and welcome. The detail the Smith's go to is incredible. Not just the coffee/tea bar but 2 drawers of bandaids! Oh, and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Wish every week was like this.

Three generations stayed in this beach house and everyone loved it. Very well stocked from the beach chairs outside to the claw crackers in the kitchen. Don’t forget to read the very personalized ideas of things to do or check out the books and town history on the walls. My kids really appreciated the ocean themed children’s books and kid friendly musical instruments. Great location and clear instructions. We’ll be back next year!

This house was the perfect location with access to the private beaches. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Owners were very responsive with any questions we had. Two families of 4 stayed very comfortably in this wonderful home with comfy beds! Annual Girls Getaway

We're a group of high school friends who have been getting together annually for many years. We've had some great houses over the years, and this qualifies up there with the best of them. Even though it's a little smaller than the houses we've booked in the past the location was great, and the house was incredibly well stocked. We loved it so much we're looking to book again for next year if we can make the dates work with the property availability.

House is as advertised with more than enough room for our group of 6. Nicely decorated in a relaxed, beachy vibe with plenty of amenities and supplies. Access to the private beach with chairs, umbrellas and towels was a real bonus. Also a short walk to Ocean Beach Park and boardwalk. Would have been better for us if house were closer to more nice playgrounds and rainy day indoor activities for young kids.

Beach Getaway

Having rented beach houses now for 13 years up and down the east coast, I have to say that this was one of the cleanest and most well stocked houses we’ve stayed in. Cute beach decorations added to the beach vibe all throughout. Damian was a very responsive host, answering any questions we had in a very timely manner. The private beach was a plus and just a short walk away. Perfect house, perfect location = perfect beach week stay.

Great stay

The house was exactly as a described and has every amenity you could think of! The bedrooms are all a nice size and the beds are very comfortable. There were more than enough towels and blankets and the kitchen has everything you need ie platters, pressure cooker, spices, pots, bowls, waffle maker, etc. just a few minute walks to the beach and driving distance to everything in mystic. The host was extremely communicative and our group of 8 was very happy! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Why they chose this property

It is our cozy beach home and there are plenty of games, places to relax and you can stroll to the beach very easily for a 2 mile walk all on oceanfront. Really nice flat neighborhood with lots of runners and walkers. Bring your ocean kayaks, SUP boards or floaties for use in the water. Sunrises are awesome from the beach and bathe the front of the home in the morning. In the afternoon, relax on the shaded balcony with water views or sit on the Adirondack chairs in the backyard to catch the last of the sun. Sunsets are the best from the 4th beach (the longest one). Sit with your wine on the sand or on the rocks until the sun sets.

What makes this property unique

Super clean, organized, plenty of amenities and decorated (with a beachy vibe) for the holidays. It is pretty special to sometimes see the unique boats in the Thames and LI Sound from the beach or balcony. You may even be lucky enough to see a submarine being towed in our out. Close via short drive to SE CT shore points and to RI (Watch Hill area). Mystic, Block Island Ferry, lobster, scallops, boating, sailing, SUP/ kayak, ferries, wineries, casinos all within the area. Really quiet and peaceful at the beach in winter too and towns nearby stay open all year.
