I really think you need to reevaluate your endorsement/advertisement of this property. We chose it because of location (which was good) and the fact that there was a pool. We contacted them immediately once we saw the pool was as green as the trees. They did have service people come out to address the concern, but were unwilling to refund any portion of our fees even though the pool was not clean and clear to use until the final day of our stay (day 5). Several of the lanai screens were torn so leaves continued to get in the pool area and there are no locks on the screen doors on the lanai, the outdoor garbage cans had not been emptied so there were hundreds of maggots in the container, the bathroom light in one bathroom worked only occasionally, the control of the fan in one bedroom sparked when turning on the switch, the decorative insert in one blade of the fan flew off when we turned it on, when a phone was plugged into a socket in the living room, the lamp in the living room shorted out. They advertised bikes - no bikes were in working order, they advertised a grill - no propane in the grill. I would discourage anyone who would even consider renting this property from renting until all of these issues are resolved. It felt more like accommodations at a low end rv camp than it did a Marco Island home - no finish on the floor in the second bathroom shower and chipped finish on the flooring throughout the living room/kitchen area.
This property knowingly misrepresented their accommodations and I think VRBO should take the listing off of their site until the electrical safety issues have been addressed, the pool leaking/lanai concerns have been fully resolved and the other concerns I mentioned have been addressed with the owners.
