Welcome to Scenic Stays, Nestled along the peaceful shores of Lake Wedowee, this charming home is the perfect escape for families, friends or anyone seeking relaxation, fun and unforgettable lakefront memories. When you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave and dishwasher. Savor your meals at the dining table or gather around an outdoor table under an umbrella. This house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths equipped with towels, basic soaps and hair dryers to accommodate larger parties. Central heating/AC and multiple ceiling fans allows you to enjoy the lake during any season. 3 outdoor areas; lower level patio, main level screened-in porch and a fire pit provide multiple entertaining locations. Don't forget the private dock for boating, swimming, fishing and sun bathing. there are also water toys to enjoy while on the water.
After you fun packed day on the water, come inside to unwind in the large living room with comfortable couches overlooking the water and catching the beautiful sunsets from the screened-in deck or catch up on the day's sports on the smart TV. You may choose to lose the crowd and venture to the cozy living area downstairs that offers large sofas and another smart TV.

My husband and I wanted a place on the lake to enjoy a weekend with our adult kids and their pet. This place was a great location for such a weekend. It was easy to get to and a short drive to restaurants and stores. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed making breakfast on the blackstone and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the firepit. The host was very informative before we arrived. We hope to rent again.

This is a beautiful waterfront cottage with all of the amenities you need for a lake getaway. It was super clean and comfortable, and the host was very responsive. We loved sitting on the screened porch in the morning and paddling off the dock during the afternoon. Bonus: it's not too far from the grocery and the walk down to the water is manageable. One tip: bring a bag of ice.

Absolutely adored our time on the lake. The place was just perfect! The amenities were over and beyond. Could not have asked for anything more perfect! The property manager was so friendly and easy to work with! Owners pay close attention to even the small details.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time. We enjoyed the screened in porch for morning coffee, the lake view was perfect. The basement was great for late night games. All of us enjoyed swimming off the dock, even our fur babies enjoyed swimming. It was very convenient to have the dock for us to tie up our boat and jet ski as well. The cove is nice, you will need buoys when tying up your boat, it gets pretty rocky with the waves at the dock. Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed for preparing meals. Beautifully decorated lake house.

Met Host at initial checkin, very helpful and hospitable. Great lakeview and access to lake, but for elderly and physical challenged the access maybe a problem. Overall me and family had an amazing stay.

We love Lake Wedowee. It is a hidden gem. The lake is clean, and the people are friendly. It never seems crowded and the views are beautiful.

This property is unique because it is newly renovated, has all the comforts of home, and the lake is easy to access with just a few steps to the water. My favorite part is all the areas to hangout- the dock, the fire pit, under the umbrella on the back porch, the screened in porch, and the 2 living rooms. No matter how many people are there, it seems spacious.
