A real mountain cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

It was snowing when we arrived so the setting was extra beautiful. The location was handy to Estes Park and RMNP but secluded. We felt like the only ones on the mountain! The kitchen was stocked and suited our needs. We cooked everyday for four adults with no problem. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are...well bathrooms and had plenty of towels, extra products, paper products, etc. The wood stove made the whole place feel cozy and warm. The big bay window in the living room provided a wonderful view of the sun coming up and the lights of Estes at night. Everything was just beautiful and we had a lovely stay.

Pictures dont do it justice!

  • 5 of 5

I brought our family of 7, lots of memories and had a great time. The lodge is super cozy, and beautiful. It feels larger than the pictures. Abundant wildlife surrounds the beautiful property. We did a lot of cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Owners had excellent communication and were great to deal with. Thank You!

Very nearly perfect

  • 5 of 5

This cabin/house has everything you could ask for. Easy access to town while being far enough off the main road to give a sense of quiet and serenity which was beautiful. And the house's appointments are wonderful. We will rent this house again and again in the years to come. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable and spacious cabin off the beaten path and yet close to town and RMNP. Lovely view from the deck. Great hosts. We'll be back! One note - must be ok with stairs.

Perfect vacation experience

  • 5 of 5

We spent four nights in this perfect mountain home. For our family of four (two adults and two children under 10 y/o), this was a perfect place to stay in Estes Park. The home is a very easy 10-15 minute drive from downtown and is only a few minutes further to the RMNP entrance. There is almost no traffic down the adjacent private drive, so we spent our evenings relaxing on the front porch with a glass of wine, a craft beer, and the wind sweeping through the aspens. The home is fully furnished (you just have to stock the refrigerator). The furniture, fixtures, amenities, etc. were all just perfect. When we come back to Estes Park, this is the first property that I'll seek out. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for much else.
