This simple studio style cabin is situated on a quiet rural road in a wooded setting on the owner’s property. A covered porch offers the opportunity to relax outdoors. Bring your bike or walking shoes to enjoy getting out on the long level road that was once the trolley line for the Buena Vista Springs Hotel. The Appalachian Trail is only minutes from the cabin, where you can day hike to nearby parks or refresh and resupply on a longer trail journey. Your stay here makes for easy visits to historic Civil War sites including Gettysburg, Antietam, South Mountain, & Monterey Battlefields. The cabin can be your home away from home for trips to many attractions within an easy days travel including Harpers Ferry, Lancaster Amish Country, Hershey, Baltimore, & Washington DC. Visitors can also enjoy a wide variety of local attractions including winery tours, events at Ski Liberty and Whitetail or local history.
