Retiro de montaña realmente único en 30 acres privados, en la cima de Tatanka Ridge en Buffalo Pass. Encanto de montaña decorado profesionalmente con impresionantes vistas en todas las direcciones. Esta propiedad se puede alquilar como cabina principal para 2 personas con un segundo granero de registro para invitados o niños, hasta 8 personas. Log Barn de nueva construcción en 2018, todo es nuevo y profesionalmente decorado por diseñadores locales. Esta es una propiedad increíble para los entusiastas del aire libre las cuatro estaciones. Ubicado en el bosque nacional Rout pero a solo 4 millas del centro de Old Towns, restaurantes, tiendas, etc. Motos de nieve, bicicleta de montaña, caminata o manejo directamente desde la casa hasta senderos interminables en Buff Pass. Great property just north of Steamboat Springs. Peaceful space and a short drive to a wonderful mountain town with great music, food, weekly events, rodeo, hot springs, farmers market, hiking in every direction and great fishing too.Home is well equipped with everything you will need, especially if you are cooking meals. Beds are comfortable. Any needs will be met by the local property manager.

Ultimate Cabin in the Woods

3 months of absolute bliss. Location is amazing for riding snow mobiles on Buff Pass. Close enough to town for convenience but far enough away for solitude and incredible star gazing.

Really great location 4 miles outside Steamboat Springs. Cabin was perfect for 2 people. Owner and manager were super helpful and our experience was awesome.

Magical retreat tucked away on a snowy mountain

Our family had one of the most memorable vacations at this fabulous cozy cabin retreat. We went dog sledding, snow tubing and road the mountain roller coaster. The accommodations and services were impeccable! I highly recommend!!

Mountain Retreat

Property was incredibly well kept. Kitchen was well stocked, easy to cook for a large crowd. Caretaker was immediately responsive to any needs. And the location is stunning, the views are spectacular. We all loved our stay-it came to an end too soon.

Steamboat Springs Mountain Getaway

Summer getaway from the Texas heat which was dog-friendly, where adult children (from Denver) could visit, and with plenty of outdoor activities. Winding, steep dirt road to access was only drawback, otherwise everything was perfect (and the views / quiet solitude / porch & firepit only 15-minutes from town more than made up for the drive). We hope to return in the future.

Mountain paradise

Wonderful property. Very clean and felt very at home. Owners clearly keep the property maintained and doesn’t feel like a rental. Highly recommend. If traveling in winter, a four wheel drive vehicle is a must.

Winter Paradise

We absolutely loved this cabin!The property is amazing! So beautiful. Winter wonderland. We saw Moose and a Pine Marten.We took daily walks along the long driveway to the entrance and sledded back to the cabin. We gamed, puzzled, warmed ourselves by the cozy fire. It was the perfect stay. Words just simply cannot capture the true beauty of this property and our experience. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Perfect Log Cabin in Steamboat

By far our favorite place we have stayed in Steamboat Springs (3-4 trips a year). Cabin is only located a few miles out of town, but you feel like you are completely on your own mountain. The cabin itself is great. The kitchen is terrific, with everything you need to cook meals. The fireplace is excellent. Overall a great place to get away from it all and relax, without having to be too far away from it all.

Perfect setting

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The location is close to town and the mountain, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. If you visit in the winter, rent some snowshoes and walk out to the ridge to watch the sunset. It won’t disappoint. Dusti and Elke were great hosts.

Family and other wildlife in the woods!

Wonderful home for multi-generation vacation. Lots of space. Comfortable. Loved fire pit but loved the sunsets more. Saw moose, bears, deer, marmots and lots of birds. Close to good hikes, the hot springs and Steamboat. Will return here for sure.

Awwww….the cool

Wonderful escape from the Texas heat. We had a fire in the morning and watched the sunset at the fire pit. The cabin is so lovely and comfortable. We had guests join us for one week and stayed very comfortably in the guests quarters. Thanks to Dusty for always being available and helpful. Would love to return someday.

The Most Magical Place with views in all directions

Mountain Medicine; This place was secluded and the silence was music to my ears. If you want overwhelming beauty in all directions and the majesty of mountains surrounding you, this is your place. Our family, my Dad and Mom stayed in the Main House where we would gather every morning for Breakfast and Evening for Dinner and movies after a full day of skiing. We saw 2 moose on the property and 2 fox. 3 of us (me, my husband and daughter) stayed in the guest house which was perfect. The Owner and property manager were very accommodating and both reached out prior to our stay to answer any questions. We would absolutely return to this property.

Peaceful Paradise... With Moose!

My mom and I had planned a full month at this fantastic property. Due to unforeseen situations at home, we had to shorten to two weeks at the last minute. But, man, did we love our two weeks! We had fairly regular visits from the resident mama moose and calf, as well as one drop-by from a black bear. We loved the peacefulness of the location, but still being close enough to town to enjoy all the Steamboat amenities. We went to the farmer's market and Art in the Park. Sunsets from the back deck and the firepit are incredible! It's so quiet and dark here at night! The property was fantastically clean and well-stocked. Dusti is a tremendous property manager and made us feel so welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend the place 100%!

Nature Moments

Nice, private location out of town in the woods. If you like wildlife—- you’ll have a combination of deer, moose and bear wandering by. If you REALLY like wildlife,—you may not enjoy the array of taxidermied dead animals on display.. Bear, elk, porcupine, raccoon, staring out from every wall. You may also not enjoy the mice in the kitchen, or the bear who pushed open a screen door and ate a 10-lb bag of dogfood, which we (mostly ) found amusing. But if you like solitude and a nice big view, it’s great.

Absolutely Amazing

This property is a little slice of heaven. We spent a week here in December and we all absolutely loved it. The owners and property manager were wonderful- clear communication, helpful, thoughtful, and easy to reach if needed. The home itself is amazing - the pictures dont do it justice. Plenty of space for all of us (including the guest house/space), convenient to town/ski slopes but yet far enough away to enjoy the views, nature, and wildlife (we saw three moose during our stay). During our visit, we had significant snowfall and the road/driveway was plowed promptly each day - 4 wheel drive is still necessary). The Kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen- great for cooking at home! All in all, between the fantastic owners/property manager, the beautiful home and property, and the great town of Steamboat, we will be coming back for sure!

Wow. Spectacular. Beautiful. First rate.

My experience - and my families experience - was nothing short of fabulous. This property is one of my favorite mountain properties ever. We loved the homes that were surrounded by woods yet the walk to the point on the property overlooked the valley in the most peaceful, wide way. We spent days hiking around the area and found cooking and resting in the house a joy. This place had everything we wanted - including amazing bedding and lovely furniture. We worked from the houses (all three of us) online and the internet was fantastic - just another benefit of this place. Our dogs were allowed on the property and this was a gift. THANK you so much. As we departed today we imagined wanting to come back during the fall change of colors. This felt like home away from home.

So we began building our Mountain town retreat. Will be spending much more time here once girls and done with school. So, come enjoy while it's available!!

Have spent plenty of time in most of the ski towns in Colorado. Looked at houses for years. Always said you have to love the town first before you find your place in it. There is nothing like Steamboat, all four seasons are incredible, and the people hear are the best. Real small town charm.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The LOCATION here for us is everything. Wanted to be in the forest, but close to town. The views at 8,500 feet and wildlife are stunning. An absolute escape from our extremely busy lives these days. Endless trails to explore, hike, mountain bike, 4x4, snowmobile. The fishing is excellent both in the rivers and Steamboat Lake. But the house set-up was important. Our main log house is really just for us!! The log barn was built for our kids and their friends and guests. Dinner and drinks are at the cabin. Sunset on the back deck or down at the huge fire-pit. And at the end of the night guests and kids go over to the barn. Good night! So it can be rented either way. Just two, great you only pay for the cabin. Two families , take the barn also.
