Wonderful Spring Beach Visit

Beautiful Beach location! The home is lovely and set up really well for a large family group. We enjoyed many gorgeous walks on the beach and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The home has everything you might need and the kitchen is especially well stocked for cooking family meals. We hope to return in the future!

A Three Generation Stay at a Wonderful House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house at Popham Beach. The layout was open and someone could be cooking and still enjoy conversations with others. The porches invited time for games or a quiet place to read. The house stayed at a comfortable temperature even when it was warm outside. Grandparents, parents, and teenagers were all happy to be together in this house and on the beach. Beautiful memories made!

Best spot on Popham Beach

We were looking for a nice weekly stay directly on Popham beach to enjoy some solitude before the family joined us for Thanksgiving. If you've ever walked Popham Beach, you'll recognize this house. It is a beautiful new home with beach front decks and porches. The open floor plan was perfect and you could hear the waves crashing on the beach. Just wonderful. The kitchen is well outfitted, including a countertop french door convection oven, crockpot, large pot for lobsters and all the cooking items you would need. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, nice linens and a washer & dryer. We walked the beach every day and the views and location cannot be beat!

Disappointing

If you have any mold allergies, do not stay here! The house is clean and on the beach--but there is a strong mold smell as soon as you open the door. Sadly, my son has mold allergies and we had to go home, he couldn't breathe. We tried to explain nicely to the manager but she was brusque and unpleasant. We had to forfeit our whole payment. So, perhaps if you leave open windows in summer, it might be okay -- but we found the mold difficult.

Great location and gorgeous house

Location on the beach cannot be beat. Gorgeous sunsets and going to sleep with the sound of the waves every night. House is clean and decorated simply without clutter. Kitchen was wonderful space to cook in for large group!

Perfect beach for family fun

Bright sunny house on a gorgeous beach. All ages had fun. The house had many nice amenities in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable after a long day of fun. If you are looking for a quiet location this is the place.

Fantastic Home! Gorgeous Beach Side Location!

Spent five nights (in late April) at this stunning house. Check-in was easy. The owner provided check-in information in advance. The location is perfect: on Popham beach, with direct access (and direct, stunning views) of the beach/water/waves and distant lighthouses. The house has five bedrooms (plus a nook off the master bedroom with a crib) and 2.5 baths. The kitchen is very well-appointed. There's nothing missing (and actually there are multiples of things like fruit/potato peelers and meat thermometers). Overall, an absolutely wonderful house. Wi-fi works well. Cell service (at least during our stay) was fine. Bath is only 25-28min away, where you can find a Shaw's, Walgreens, CVS, etc. The closer general store (Bisson's) is a good stop for beer, canned goods, and some staples but not really viable for a "stock the fridge" grocery trip. Finally, the beach is amazing. Wide and expansive during low tide and mid-tide. Easy, pleasant walk to Fort Popham. Overall, a terrific home. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful house!

The view from this house is absolutely gorgeous! We were not sure how it will be in the winter however the walls on the beach were absolutely breath taking. Kids also had had fun! I work definitely recommend this house! Very clean house which is very important!!

Beautiful Oceanfront Home

We are a family of 10 including 4 kids -1,3,5 and 8. The home was plenty big enough for all of us. Very clean and had all the essentials we needed. The beach was perfect for the kids (the older ones even went in the water and it was cold!). Would love to return in the future. Deb was very responsive in answering all my questions. Highly recommend!

Amazing escape

Truly wonderful time away. We enjoyed four days listening to the sounds of the waves from the house and walking the beach. The house was incredible with views of the ocean from almost every room. The first floor suite was extremely comfortable and enjoyed excellent views of the ocean as well. We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had the best time during our stay. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The views from the house were unbelievable- truly breathtaking. It was so nice to be able to walk out the door and go for a walk on the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

The house is very clean, has all you need, and is beautiful. The house is a close walk to the beach, close to Fort Popham, and Popham Beach State Park. The sunrises are beautiful, and you have views of islands and 2 lighthouses from the windows! Great place!

Serene Christmas Stay Inclusive of a "Fresh Breeze" at 19 mph

All aspects from the precheck-in to check-out procedures were professionally and carefully attended. All the information a renter would wish to have was there if we needed it. The home is beautiful for a family to gather and also to have niches of privacy. Velvety blankets provided luxury to quiet time. The quality of the kitchen and its supporting items made for lovely preparation of meals. And, of course, the beach! With the partial berm, a secluded aspect gives extra comfort to the beach home. With strong south winds, a few days showed us big breakers and gave us windy walks. THIS is the place to stay if you enjoy beauty of sunrises and majestic ocean strength.

Perfect stay

We had an wonderful time this Thanksgiving at Deb's house . Everything was perfect . The view of the beach from the house is marvelous , our kids were able to go and play / walk on the beach for hours. The location is really nice , especially during Covid time when you want to be away from everything.
