Charming older house with lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed a quick stay to visit Frankenmuth. The were lots of fun details about this house my kids loved exploring. They also loved taking their pick from the many rooms to sleep in.

House was clean, trash in downstairs bathroom trash can. For an old house it was charming, did wish there would have been two showers, even though me and my guests didn’t use shower since we only were there to sleep for one night.

Five of us girlfriends came to town to visit Frankenmuth. We were the first visitors at this house. The listing said enough sleeping for 10 so we each got a bedroom with plenty of space for more if needed. It was chilly at night and the furnace worked quickly & efficiently. We didn’t cook, but did make coffee. There was a pot & filters. We brought our own coffee & creamers. At the time the ice machine was not hooked up in fridge, yet. Do bring your passwords for streaming as we weren’t able to watch TV. We were able to find a free channel after some searching, but limited in what we could watch at night. The house itself was clean and had all amenities listed.

We are located on the beautiful Cass River. The neighbors are wonderful.

What makes this property unique

This house was one of the first houses built in Vassar back when we were known as Cork Pine City. The old train tracks are a unique sight. There is a museum with a lot of historical items in town. We are only a 12 minute drive to Frankenmuth or a 5 hour float by river. There are several places to put in and get out including our private dock behind the house. There is a lot of room for parking you could even park an RV or camper in the back yard for extra sleeping space.
