Very spacious home, well maintained. Every bedroom had its own ac on top of the home having central air. The ice maker on the fridge was broken but the host went out of their way to ensure there was a bag of ice in the freezer for us. The home had plenty of books, games and even a few toys. There was a nice assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. The home had everything we needed to be more than comfortable for the weekend. It was the perfect place for our bachelorette party!

Emily is a fantastic host, very responsive to questions, and she offered that our group could borrow their kayaks! The house was super clean, and the large size accommodated our party-size well (7 adults and 1 child). We walked in town, which was pleasantly quiet, got coffee at nearby Bigbys, ran on the rail trail and played at the outdoor park. Frankenmuth is an easy 15-20 minute drive from the house. Highly recommend!

Charming older house with lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed a quick stay to visit Frankenmuth. The were lots of fun details about this house my kids loved exploring. They also loved taking their pick from the many rooms to sleep in.

Our hostess keeps this house so clean and we'll stocked with anything you might need. She was always available via email for questions if we had them. My whole family stayed, ages 10 months to 60 years old. We all loved it and felt at home. We had plenty of room for everyone! The bathrooms are awesome. The one is so big that we joked about making it the baby's room. There are kayaks available to use and a canoe. We used everything! The table on the deck made a great area for games in the afternoon. We brought our own high chair and there were extra chairs available for the dining room. We had a fabulous time! Vassar is so close to Frankenmuth so it's a perfect place to stay if that's your destination. There is a park right down the street for the kids to play and if you have extra family coming in, there is a campground right down the street. 15 a night. All in all, I would recommend this rental.

House was clean, trash in downstairs bathroom trash can. For an old house it was charming, did wish there would have been two showers, even though me and my guests didn’t use shower since we only were there to sleep for one night.

Five of us girlfriends came to town to visit Frankenmuth. We were the first visitors at this house. The listing said enough sleeping for 10 so we each got a bedroom with plenty of space for more if needed. It was chilly at night and the furnace worked quickly & efficiently. We didn’t cook, but did make coffee. There was a pot & filters. We brought our own coffee & creamers. At the time the ice machine was not hooked up in fridge, yet. Do bring your passwords for streaming as we weren’t able to watch TV. We were able to find a free channel after some searching, but limited in what we could watch at night. The house itself was clean and had all amenities listed.

The house was clean and beautiful! So spacious! We loved the charm and character! It had all the modern conveniences we needed. Cass River is in the back yard and 20 minutes to Frankenmuth. We had definitely love to stay there again!

Why they chose this property

We are located on the beautiful Cass River. The neighbors are wonderful.

What makes this property unique

This house was one of the first houses built in Vassar back when we were known as Cork Pine City. The old train tracks are a unique sight. There is a museum with a lot of historical items in town. We are only a 12 minute drive to Frankenmuth or a 5 hour float by river. There are several places to put in and get out including our private dock behind the house. There is a lot of room for parking you could even park an RV or camper in the back yard for extra sleeping space.
