Welcome to “Hale Namolokama”, where waterfalls come to life before your eyes. Our condo boasts a breathtaking view of the 4,421-foot tall Mount Namolokama, which in Hawaiian means “resplendent with waterfalls.” After rains, spectacular waterfalls spring up on Namolokama, as well as Hihimanu and Mamalahoa mountains. You can see them all from our lanai - it’s a memory to last a lifetime!
Located in the cozy Hale Moi complex in the luxurious Princeville Resort area, the condo is furnished to suit your every need and make your stay on the north shore relaxing and full of aloha (be sure and watch the VIDEO, at the top of the photo window). Along with a vaulted cathedral ceiling and spacious interior, you will enjoy a full gourmet kitchen, full bath and comfortable living area decorated in island décor. The condo has just been partially remodeled with new living area furniture, granite countertops in the kitchen, one-of-a-kind, gorgeous monkeypod wood countertops elsewhere, and a pedestal sink in the bathroom. It's features include a queen bed with a new pillowtop mattress, fine linens and towels, washer/dryer, a flat screen television, cd player, ceiling fans, beach gear as well as dvds, books, and wireless internet. The kitchen with bar area is fully equipped and has an awesome picture window that looks out on Mount Namolokama. The condo is also a highly-desirable corner unit with windows galore to catch the trade winds perfectly.
You will love the large lanai, which has a gorgeous view out over a lush tropical greenbelt to Mount Namolokama in the distance. In the early morning hours, come out with your coffee and listen to a symphony of cardinals and other island birds as they flit from treetop to treetop. On fall and winter evenings, watch the sun go down to the west. The lanai even boasts a peek ocean view of Hanalei Bay. Indeed, with all that, you may never want to leave the lanai!
The condo is perfectly located and within walking distance to Pali Ke Kua beach (a five-minute walk down a paved pathway across the street) and two other beaches. The five-star St. Regis hotel is a 10-minute walk away. You can watch unforgettable sunsets from a spectacular ocean overlook that is about 200 yards away. Right across the street is the Hideaway Pizza Pub, where a delicious lunch or dinner awaits you. The condo is within a short 20-minute-or-less drive to all of the north shore’s must-see spots, including Lumahai, Tunnels and Ke'e beaches, Hanalei town, the Kalalau trail and Limahuli Gardens.
The owner bought Hale Namolokama for its magical view of Mount Namolokama. She said that once she saw the waterfalls off in the distance, she was in love. There are often many beautiful rainbows in the mountains, too. Princeville is a wonderful resort and a great place to stay.
Great location less than a mile from the 5-star St. Regis Hotel, several beaches within walking distance, and right on the walk/jog path that runs through Princeville will take your breath away with its stunning views
The rental was very clean and everything worked. The bed, couch, and chairs were all comfortable. We had our breakfast outside on the back balcony with the great mountain view. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, and utensils. The owner was very kind through all corespondance and listed several fun and scenic things to do in the area. A favorite of ours was queens bath, which is in walking distance. We used the beach chairs and there were boogie boards too, in the bathroom closet. I highly recommend going to the local food land for poke and eating it on a hike or picnic at one of the many beach spots. If your having any doubt about staying on the south, east, or north side, do the north. It is much more lush and the bulk of what we wanted to do is in the north. We had a great stay and would go back to the same rental absolutely.... Maybe on an anniversary. Mahalo John!!
The condo has everything you need for a stay on the north shore. The view out the back lanai is gorgeous. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked. I only have a couple critiques: 1. The sheets were washed with a fragrant detergent (not great for anyone sensitive to chemical fragrances. It was aired out after 24 hours & fine. 2. The shower curtain was moldy. This can happen within a few days in Hawaii, so wasn't too concerned.
Overall, this place was fantastic, clean and very convenient.
Decided to stay on the north shore after 4 days in Poipu. Loved it!! The condo has a great view of the canyons, filled with waterfalls and rainbows (not joking)
We met the neighbors at one point and they were awesome! They helped us out with directions and other hot spots.
The condo in a very quiet area, with plenty to do nearby.
We loved our stay in this beautiful condominium. It was clean and had everything we needed, plus the views were incredible. The area that it's located in is beautiful and within walking distance of several amazing beaches. John was very helpful and accommodating and we found the neighbors in the area to be very friendly and helpful as well. We highly recommend this place.
We had a very enjoyable stay in this condo.
We stayed for 6 nights at the condo and we loved it. It is great value for money.
Princeville is the best location in Kauai and the condo is very well located within Princeville. You can walk to the beach in less than 10min. You can go to Saint Regis for a coffee and gourmet dinner.
It is not ocean view, but the views of the mountains from the lanai are superb.
Value for money i don't think you will find better. If we go back to Kauai we will stay there.
Hale Namolokama is a ten-minute walk to the world-renowned St. Regis Hotel, which has a spa and fine restaurants and shops (it also has public beach access). Drive to two of Hawaii's finest golf courses , the Makai and Prince courses, in five minutes. Queen's bath, a spectacular ocean spot used by ancient Hawaiian royalty, is within walking distance. Whale watch (Nov - Apr) from one of many ocean overlooks within walking distance. Hanalei town, a romantic beachside community where you can rent bikes, shop and visit the majestic Hanalei bay, or kayak or stand-up paddle board, is a five-minute drive away. The Princeville airport - where visitors can take an unforgettable helicopter tour of the island - is five minutes away as well
