The Barn is named for what were once horse stalls and hay lofts. It is a classy restored barn that has been transformed into a beautiful guest cottage. The Barn provides you with all you need to stay for the weekend, a week or even a month. It comfortably accommodates 4-5 guests. The downstairs incorporates a comfortable living room and dining banquette complete with a farmhouse bench perfect for relaxing, reading, watching tv and dining. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use with stainless appliances, gas range, apron front sink, rustic concrete countertops, open shelving and lastly great coffee! The master bedroom includes a king bed with cozy linens and goose-down filled duvets. The loft is its own private retreat, complete with queen bed dressed in top-of-line linens. The main bath has a rustic tumbled stone walk-in shower and spa quality towels. One of our favorite parts of the Barn is the large private patio where you can BBQ on your own gas grill and converse with family and friends while sitting around the spacious outdoor table and fire pit. Bikes are available to rent downtown and we highly recommend you use to visit the local wineries and enjoy the picturesque country side. Even with the country setting, you are just 3 miles away from downtown.

About Megan Holbrook
Jeff and Megan Holbrook purchased their property in 2005. Megan knew instantly that the pony barn on the back acre would make an amazing guest cottage. Jeff is a Concrete and Excavation Contractor and applied his skills and hard work to make the dream a reality. The Barn construction was complete in Spring 2013'. Megan is a Registered Dental Hygienist whose love for design and meeting new people has made the Barn a true ' home away from home.' Their most treasured successes are their two beautiful children, Callee and Trace, and a silly Dog named Lexi who loves to greet the guests as they arrive. They also enjoy camping, riding dirt bikes, running and just being together. Life to them is about following dreams and believing they will come true.. And it has!

Why Megan Holbrook chose Walla Walla
When you drive down the lane to The Barn you instantly get a 'Wow' feeling. Our place is a casual country setting; very cozy and nestled among big pine trees. You will hear birds chirping, frogs croaking but not a rooster in the morning. It is an escape from reality of the daily grind. Every amenity is top quality, while the setting is perfectly simplistic and peaceful.

Darling place, beautiful location
We loved our weekend at The Barn! We were there for our daughter's graduation from Nursing School.
As mentioned in many other reviews, the little details and extra amenities made our stay even more special. I do wish I had read the renter's notebook the first night we got there, because I had forgotten a toothbrush, and when I did get around to reading the notebook I saw that there was a basket of things that renters may need... including a toothbrush!
We BBQ'd one night and we had all the utensils and equipment we needed. We made s'mores at night under the stars, in delightful weather.
I hope to have another reason to visit Walla Walla again, and I would definitely stay at The Barn!
Beautifully crafted & maintained
We loved staying here! It had every amenity you could possibly need and was warm & inviting.
Perfect spot for wine and friends.
Wonderfully maintained property on the south side close to many wineries. Would recommend again and again. Thanks so much for a wonderful getaway
Loved the barn!!!
This was the perfect place for our quick girls weekend in wine country! The barn was absolutely adorable and the outdoor area beautiful. The beds were comfortable, shower was great, kitchen and decor were super cute! The location was easy with ubers and we had an amazing time. The hosts were awesome, helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend the barn to anyone visiting Walla Walla.
This was a beautiful place to stay, it is behind the owners property but very private. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed making dinner there. This isn't really walkable to town but it was centrally located to a number of wineries that we planned to visit. There is a bedroom on the main floor and a loft upstairs, so the upstairs quests don't have as much privacy as a bedroom would have given, but we still enjoyed it very much. There was also coffee, cream and even a bottle of wine to greet us!
Perfect, charming wine country getaway!
The barn is more than a nice place to stay, it’s an idyllic retreat. Not only have the owners built/restored the perfect picturesque barn but Meg takes the time to pay attention to all the extra details.
