You are in the center of it all but will find yourself in a tranquil retreat in this cozy home featuring 2 master bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a screened-in porch, and a fire pit. Sip your coffee and listen to the bubbling creek before wandering over to Main Street to visit boutique shops, try local restaurants and catch some live entertainment. Be sure to check out the nearby waterfalls and hiking trails before heading back to relax by the fireplace with loved ones.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn off all the lights Set the heaters to 55
Lock all windows and doors Leave all trash either in the can inside the utility room or inside the outdoor trash bin by the side of the house.
If you do this, please make sure the can is fully closed and all trash inside is in trash bags.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The house was exactly as shown in listing. The kitchen setup was great - plenty of glassware and dishes if we wanted to cook. We spent a good deal of time by the creek with a fire going in the fire pit - it was very relaxing. The house is so close to downtown Highlands that you can walk or drive to a number of shops and restaurants. We had a minor issue that we reported and the host resolved it immediately. We will definitely be back to stay in the house at a future date.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Everything was as described. Brittany is a 5 star host. Very responsive and takes care of any issues you might encounter. We spent most of our time by the creek and the hot tub. Mornings and evenings we enjoyed the soothing sounds of the creek. We walked to the downtown area as well as hiked to numerous falls and sunset rock. The home is close to everything. Would highly recommend this cottage!

We had such a great time! The house was so clean, the space was beautiful. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. When we had trouble with the toilets, they had someone come out immediately to fix it. Super responsive hosts. The only suggestion I have would be making sure to have enough trash bags available and towels. Thank you so much!!
