With 5 bedrooms this home has many options to enhance your vacation experience. The main entry off the street has no stairs and opens to the living area, dining area and spacious gourmet kitchen. A really grand room. This level has three bedrooms, and one and a half bath. The larger bedroom has a Cal King bed, with ocean views and a beautiful spacious bathroom, cedar lined closets, large soaker tub, double vanity sinks and a large walk in shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and is close to the half bath. This room also houses one of two washer/dryer sets in the home. The third bedroom on this level has twin beds and is just off the main living area. This level has a huge lanai with panoramic ocean views, multiple sitting/dining areas and overlooks the pool for your enjoyment.

The lower level of the home, accessible from the side street/garage area thus avoiding stairs, or the staircase from the upper level surrounds the sparkling pool with great ocean views and tropical landscaping. On this level you will find two spacious bedrooms with Cal King beds and on suite bathrooms. Between the two suites is a smaller but well equipped kitchen with a second washer and dryer. There is a half bath with an outside shower on this level as well.

Parking is ample both on the upper and lower levels. The home comfortably sleeps 10. Located away from the noise of Kona Town at a cooler elevation Hale Wa’a Palekaiko is conveniently located to most activities in and around town.

Who doesn't dream of Hawaii? Visions of grass skirts, hula , swaying palm trees and crystal clear blue ocean water. This is a really nice neighborhood, quiet , peaceful and relaxing. We are close to Kona town if we want to go out for dinner or to listen to the many forms of entertainment offered in Kona and Keauhou. The location is ideal , just enough elevation to take in the ocean breezes but not so high to be in the rain.

What makes this house unique

The first thing we said when we walked in this home was WOW! Our attention was drawn to the unbelievable view but also by the high vaulted ceilings, and unique architectural features. It has a comfortable elegance that made us know immediately that it was the perfect home for us... WOW factor.

A Wonderful Family Vacation

We stayed at the Outrigger Paradise with our family (two sons and their wives and four grandchildren, ages 7-14). It was a perfect house for the ten of us. We enjoyed the view and the use of the private pool. The grandkids were often in the pool. With five bedrooms and plentiful bathrooms it never seemed overcrowded. The upstairs kitchen is part of the spacious great room and very well equipped. We ate the majority of our meals at the house. Drawers are well labeled so it is easy to find what you need.

Our week was a wonderful mix of swimming, reading and playing games at the house as well as trips to the beach, volcano, coffee farm, and a snorkel cruise. The house is in a convenient location in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is a reasonable distance to the town of Kailua-Kona and other shopping such as Costco and Safeway.

Our whole family agreed it would be wonderful to come back again!

Great location, plenty of space

We had a wonderful time staying at Outrigger's Paradise this summer. We had 2 families, 10 people in total, with 6 kids ranging in age from 8-19. The house offered plenty of common space to hang out together, and private space for quiet time. Location was fantastic - a stone's throw from "downtown" Kailua, nice beaches nearby, convenient to restaurants/shopping, and tons of activities within a short drive. The house was well appointed, and if they give the downstairs bathrooms a deep cleaning, it's a 5-star property! Denise at the management company was a joy to deal with.

Great family home

We stayed here during late March for 7 days and absolutely loved the home. There were 5 adults and 2 kids and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Comfortable beds and well equipped for all your needs. The location is very convenient to grocery stores and for exploring the island. Pool is not heated but it warms up nicely once sun hits it, no AC but ocean breeze cools down house by end evening. Very nice neighborhood it is located in up on the hill. Easy travel to Kona, the market, or coffee farms. With the upstairs having 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and lower level having 2 bedrooms and 3 baths you never feel crowded. This house is set up like two houses since lower level also has a kitchen and laundry. The upper level has open ceilings between all the bedrooms. Amazing sunset views every night from porch and pool deck. I would recommend this house and hope to come again soon.

Spectacular Place!

We spent 13 nights at this lovely home during our spring break. We had 9 family members total in our group ranging in ages from 5 to 71. The house was beautiful and very clean and the layout was perfect for us. Everyone had plenty of space. The rooms were nice, beds were very comfortable, and it was well equipped including a 2nd kitchen and 2nd washer & dryer downstairs. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed each and every sunset on the spacious deck. The large infinity pool was big enough for everyone in our party and it was the perfect temperature! There was plenty of seating and lounge chairs for all. The pool bathroom and outside heated shower was a nice feature too! We truely enjoyed our time spent here. It was the perfect break from our long, cold winter and it was tough to leave! Kudos to the property management team too - They were easy and friendly to work with!

Awesome Vacation Home

My family stayed at this house on Jan 4th thru Jan 13 th and absolutely loved it. The view is phenomenal. The set up was just what we needed. Very close to town, markets and volcano is only 90 minute drive. Coffee farms are above you and easy to get to. I hope to come back to Kona and would definitely stay here again. They stock the house with essentials for your arrival. Best time ever !

Great house for a family vacation.

We recently stayed a week here. We really enjoyed it. There were 6 adults and 4 children (8, 6, 3 and 6 months). We had plenty of room and everyone had their privacy. There was a pack and play available for the baby. The house is located very close to Kona and Ali'i drive. There decks all over the house to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The house is also very well equipped and everything is marked.

We would recommend this house to anyone.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Kailua Kona, Hawaii and convenient to many of Hawaii Island's best attractions.





  • Before you make a reservation, please recognize that when possible we book our properties back-to-back, where guests arrive in the afternoon of the morning other guests depart. During the high-demand seasons of IronMan (10/01 to 10/16), and the Holidays (12/23 to 01/02), we require a minimum stay of 7 nights; during the remainder of the year we require a minimum of 5 nights. Contact us for pricing on "gap" bookings (3 night minimum) that occur between two other bookings during any season. Please email us with any questions before booking.

    When you make your reservation and pay your deposit, please include your cell number when asked for your phone, and email us if you haven't received a confirmation within 12 hours. We will need to confirm that your dates integrate well with our calendar and provide you with a confirmation email and guest license agreement. 

    Your reservation must be secured with a major credit card and your deposit paid with that card; we accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. You may pay your final balance with the same credit card or another card of your choosing. For an additional fee we accept American Express or PayPal for your final payment; please contact us to make those arrangements. Your initial deposit made online will include a booking fee that goes straight to VRBO/HomeAway for making your reservation. 

    The cleaning fee included in your reservation is the standard exit cleaning fee for the size of this property (5 bed/4 bath), and maximum number of guests permitted (10). If you are reserving for 21 days or more, we will add an extended-stay cleaning fee of $100.00 for every 21 days you stay to cover the additional time required to clean the property. Guests arriving or departing on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day will be charged an additional $180 Holiday cleaning fee if their booking creates a back-to-back reservation. The additional cleaning fees will be added after you make your reservation - there is not a way to included these fees as part of the online booking.
