The house is a bright, newly constructed ( in 2012) 3 bedroom home near the Siesta Beaches. This property is nestled in a quiet community a 10 minute walk from the white sands of Siesta Key's Crescent Beach and 3 blocks from the shops, restaurants and boat rentals of Stickney Point Bridge area. There are plenty of good restaurants, pizza, ice cream and boat and bike rentals within walking distance.
This home is built next door to property that has been in the family since the '50s, and is situated at the front of a large 0.4 acre property with half of it a fenced-in, grass backyard. Kids and small pets love the safe environment in which to play as adults watch from the large screened lanai, kitchen, or great room. The home has a lovely terrazzo-type floor, new furniture, a fully-functional, fully outfitted kitchen, fast internet, and WiFi throughout the house and lanai.
We built this place specifically as a bright and airy Siesta Key beach house. It is designed to accommodate our family and pets for vacations in carefree, tasteful and low maintenance living. This house is designed to stand up to 140 mph hurricane winds, with low energy usage due to its special construction. We have tried to make this a turn-key place for visitors to enjoy, from coffee grinders to hairdryers to beach toys, we have outfitted it for our use and yours. There is also a guest book, that we and visitors update with menus and brochures from local sites and vendors, including such things as rentals for cribs, baby strollers and sports equipment. There is a bonus room to setup an 'office' for those who can't get completely away from work. We hope you enjoy it!
This property is located across the Intercoastal Waterway from Siesta Key on Beechwood Ave., which means you can visit the beaches without having to put up with traffic on the only two bridges, it is a quieter location, and the price is right. An advantage of single family homes is that you are not limited to a single car.
The local manager is a few blocks away. She will take care of your needs and of course, you can always contact us with problems, questions, suggestions or feedback.

Perfection!
I have had the pleasure of renting one of the properties Bill and Carol own on three occasions, each for a month stay. The properties are so tastefully decorated, have fully equipped kitchens, lovely linens, and abundant towels. Since I travel with my two dogs, I especially like the huge fenced back yard, where they can romp off leash. The homes have been so comfortable that I felt immediately at home. If I had any questions, Kate, at the local management company, responded immediately. The neighborhood is quiet and is convenient to stores and restaurants. Cresent Beach is a short walk, or Siesta Key Beach is a short drive. The homes are spacious, with the guest rooms on the opposite side of the house do family members have privacy. I highly recommend these properties!
A wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood near the beach and great for pets!
We love staying here and have rented it for the past three Januarys. The well-appointed new home is in a quiet neighborhood which is convenient to Siesta Beach, great restaurants, shops and a farmer’s market. The house is great for dogs as well, with a fenced yard and a dog door on the porch. The owners, Bill & Carol, have done a great job with this home and are wonderful to work with. We couldn’t recommend it more.
Best Vacation Ever!
We stayed a total of two months between the two properties next door to one another. Hard to choose which was our favorite. Both were well appointed and comfortable. Our dogs loved the large, fenced in yards. I love to cook and the kitchens were good.
The location is central to every activity, the beaches ( if you have dogs, check out Brohard Paw Beach in Venice) the movies , the conveient shopping, the Ringling Museum, our favorite gym (Crunch) and sunsets at Turtle Beach is a ten minute drive. Our hosts were just wonderful and made us feel very welcome.
The whole experience convinced us to buy our own house at the end of our stay (the rental homes were not for sale...
Perfection
We have rented this home for the month of March the past two years. If we were to build a home in Florida this is what we would want. Contemporary but warm and welcoming, the layout/floorplan is wonderful and I have never seen such a well-equipped kitchen in a rental property.
We were very comfortable when just the two of us. Our two daughters and spouses and a grandchild stayed with us for a week each year with room for everyone, and we entertained friends who lived in the area frequently. Our Golden Retriever loved the back yard. So, the house works well for a variety of situatons. Siesta beaches are a stone's throw and Sarasota is well worth exploring (the Saturday market in the historic district and the Ringling are tops).
Both the owner and rental property manager were accommodating and available to assist and answer any questions. We would be there again this year were it not for a new boat and forthcoming jouney on the ICW.
Wonderful house in a great location
We stayed at this house from Thanksgiving through Christmas and absolutely loved it. It's in a friendly neighborhood that makes you feel right at home. You can easily walk or bike to all sorts of shopping plus the beaches and restaurants of Siesta Key. The home itself is absolutely beautifully decorated yet still so comfortable. The kitchen, bathrooms, etc were well equipped. The backyard was huge and very much enjoyed by our dogs. The owner and property manager were very welcoming and accommodating which goes along way in contributing to a relaxing vacation. I almost hate to give it such a great review because it may not be available when we're ready to return!
