Another Great Stay in Sarasota

We, my wife and two dogs, had a second (2023 and 2024) month long vacation in Sarasota, FL. The house location and the house itself, is perfect with for us with a beautiful pool and plenty of room for our guests. We are definitely going back next year!

Olive Ave Sarasota

The house was effect for us. It was spacious enough for us and our dogs and company. There was a new gas grill that we put to use and the pool was clean and warm! You must access the second bathroom by going out side the house but it was clean and the shower was great. We hope to return next year!

Dirty and Run Down

I was looking forward to my 2-week stay at this property especially after reading reviews on both websites. When I checked in, I noticed the floor was gross. While walking bare feet you were picking up crumbs with every step. I swept the floor within minutes (wish I could attach the photo!) After that, I found the dishwasher was not run and had dirty dishes. The washer had wet towels. The dryer had towels. The roadside trash cans were completely full and couldn’t be taken out for seven more days (so I couldn’t put my own trash or recycling out), the outside trash cans had trash on the ground. The pool guy came my first day (without being notified) and about an hour he left, we got in and found the pools surface covered in dead bugs. The whole 2-week stay the pool had LOTS of bugs floating. Without notice, my first morning someone let themselves in after I didn’t answer the knock (it qas early morning and I’d just had a 22-hour international travel day). I was in bed and not appropriately dressed. On two other occasions outdoor workers came (pool/yard) without notice and i May have been walking around thinking it was private :/. Beyond the cleanliness and communication, the house is run down. There’s tape covering a step because it’s so cracked. The toilet paper holder doesn’t hold paper, the floor has cracks. I was offered slightly over 100$ for the cleanliness issues, but with the price of this rental that didn’t make a dent in the issues. Wouldn’t reCommen

The house was great for our needs and was pet friendly The few small issues were addressed quickly. The pool cage needs some work. The pool was very nice and kept sparkling clean. It was nice having two tv areas. One bathroom was fine for the 2 of us. The 2nd bathroom being outside may be an issue for a larger group
