Property was just as pictured. A really unusual cottage. They have saved an historic structure where old and new blend together seamlessly. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable living area and a bed I would take home if I could! Convenient to all the areas you want to see yet just out of busy roads. The owners have preserved history and maintained a family farm almost 300 years old. America at its best. Families with young children will love the animals, pond and the secret room!

The home is rich with history and love, and the owners are such sweet and genuine people. The accommodations are comfortable and full of beautiful historic charm, staying true to the home’s past. The pictures in the listing truly don’t do it justice! It’s such a lovely getaway, and our three little kids had the best time. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily come back again!

I stayed at this location with my four kids. It was lovely and incredibly comfortable. I was able to cook meals each night and we enjoyed wonderful family conversations at the dining table. The house had every comfort needed to feel like we were right at home. All the while, we were surrounded by the rustic charm of the home and surrounding property. The house has a small nook where my kids sat together and read books for hours before bed. It was a real treat to stay here and the hosts are kind and thoughtful in the experience they make available to their guests. I hope to come back soon.
