Traditionally known as a shelter for nomads, our yurt offers all the modern conveniences of a permanent home. We are just seven minutes to downtown Floyd and less than one minute to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Relax in the comfort of a queen size bed and take advantage of a full kitchen, loft with two fold-out twin chairs, and a full bathroom with laundry facilities. You`ll never have to sacrifice connectivity with our high-speed fiber internet and smart TV. And don`t forget to step outside onto the surround deck and cozy up by the firepit under the stars.

We believe that pets are family too, which is why we welcome FIDO to join you on your vacation. Let them roam and explore the vast open space around our yurt.

Bringing some friends along? Our sister location, Stone Haven Cottage, is right next door, providing even more space for your group.

Just a few reminders:

3 - Please do not move furniture
4 - You`ll be staying in a cabin in the woods. We apologize now if bugs make it into the cabin between cleaning and your arrival. That`s just cabin life. We have pest control service, but the bugs are smarter :)
5 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels
6 - Kitchen has a mini-fridge, stove, microwave and Keurig
7 - Due to the proximity of our sister location, the Stone Haven Cottage, quiet hours begin at 10pm
8 - Remember it`s our home, so treat it with respect

Amazing stay! The Yurt was beautiful and spotless and the location was stunning and felt remote--yet it was only a 7 minute drive from town.

The yurt was really clean and cozy. A little chilly when we checked in but quickly heated up with the simple heaters/ a/c units on the wall.So peaceful and beautiful. The bed was really comfortable, in fact I’m going to ask what type of mattress they have! Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 mins from Floyd an ideallic mountain town. I am glad that we got there just before dark the first time as the entry is discreet, but having found it once we went again in the dark that evening and had no trouble finding it again. Very safe feeling for women travelers. My daughter and I loved it. Some deer came to visit us as the sun turned golden over the trees. Thank you!
