Welcome to our home in Paradise in lovely Alii Cove, a luxury condo complex. Location, location, location. Our beautiful condo is located in the first row of condos in the gated resort complex of Alii Cove. We do not overlook other condos, but have gorgeous views of the ocean, and lagoon pool from our lanai, master bedroom, guest bedroom and living room.
Alii Cove is located on the prestigious Alii Drive just a 5 minute walk to Kailua-Kona town and across the street from Hon'l Beach. Not only can you see the waves on Hon'l Beach from our condo but you can hear them splash on shore. We are located on the second floor with vaulted ceilings making it open and airy. Ceiling fans are in all three bedrooms and living room for natural ventilation. All rooms are beautifully furnished. Master bedroom has a California King Bed and flat screen TV. Second bedroom has Queen bed and third bedroom has twin Pune sofa beds and desk. Our home is well appointed and has several beautiful original tropical art paintings. We have a fully equipped kitchen with sleek granite countertops and attractive cabinets and a pantry full of condiments.
There are two spacious bathrooms. We offer many amenities including a library of books, CD's and DVDs, and WI FI access.
Alii Cove has beautiful grounds with lush tropical landscaping. It is a well cared for complex. We have two parking spaces in front of our unit and one is covered.
Our favorite things to do while at Alii Cove have been morning walk to town to the Farmer's Market, grab a cup of coffee and visit to the downtown pier with all it's activities. In the evening we may be back to Kona town for a many superb restaurants.
You will also have access to the Fitness Center, Spa and stainless steel gas barbeques. There is also a wading pool for kiddies next to the lagoon style resort pool.
Air conditioning is very expensive. Turn off the A/C and fling open the windows and doors and be lulled to sleep by gentle breezes, and ocean waves. Wake to the sweet calls of Hawaii's beautiful birds.
Alii Cove's homeowner rules require a minimum of 30 day rentals so our resort remains a quiet and private community.
Hon'l Beach is directly across the street. It is a great place to watch surfers and breathtaking sunsets, you can also snorkel, swim and enjoy the views.
There are also many beaches close by that offer the best snorkeling on the Island. World class golf courses are nearby. The Big Island offers many activities for families and couples. They include Tropical Rain Forests, Waterfall, Botanical gardens Parker Ranch, Place of Refuge, Mauna Kea Observatory, Volcano National Park and opportunities to swim with dolphins and sea turtles. Come home to Alii Cove and relax on our lanai and watch amazing sunsets. It is truly a unique and magical paradise.

We love this property because it is so close to town. We walk there at least once a day in the morning and evening.
Morning to the Farmers Market and to watch activities at the pier. In the evening superb dining in town at many restaurants.
Could actually stay at our condo without a car because there is so much within walking distance.
We had the privilege of staying at this condo for 3 months, and enjoyed every minute of it! The owners have taken such care to provide everything you could possibly need for your stay here. The moment we walked in it just felt like home, and so perfect! They have been meticulous in providing a wonderfully equipped kitchen, and even have all instruction manuals available should you need them!
The condo is decorated beautifully, and has such a comfortable and relaxing feel to it.
We loved eating breakfast on the Lanai, and watching the dolphins spinning nearly every morning! Valentine's Day we were treated to a whale breaching just off the shore, in perfect view of the Lanai....what better way to start the day could there possibly be? The location is absolutely perfect both in the complex, and in the town. Terry and Jim were very kind and helpful....a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend this property, and are hoping to return one day ourselves. Thank you both for providing such an oasis for travelers!

We had a wonderful two months staying in this unit. We wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy the pool and play in the sun. We were able to do all that and more while staying in this unit. The pool gate is next to this building. The bbq's are located near the pool and we were able to use them almost every night.
We highly recommend this condo. It has a lovely view of the water from the verandah. We dined on the veranda in the evening watching the sun set over the water. In the morning we had our coffee there watching the sun come up from behind our unit. It was a lovely place from which to plan our days.
There is a closet chocked full of beach toys. The beach towels are plentiful. The unit is well fitted out with kitchen ware and bath towels. We wanted for noting. In fact, we could have brought less clothes as there is a washer and dryer available with in the unit.
This unit is advertised as being within walking distance to Kona. It really is! We enjoyed walking to the coffee shop for our latte's or other shopping we needed to do. There are many lovely and lively restaurants for enjoying the setting sun.
The owners were wonderful and they are very responsive to any issues or questions you may have. You cannot go wrong renting this unit. We highly recommend it.
We rented this property for the second time in two years, and if it were possible to stay year-round we would. The owners are kind and responsive, the property is well kept, and the location is within walking distance of town, but tucked away from the main road, so it is quiet. We spotted whales from the lanai, enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, and the cleanliness of the condo. There are plenty of beach towels, tote bags, coolers and chairs to make beach visits easy. The owners also make frequent upgrades to fixtures and appliances. This is truly our choice for our Hawaii home away from home!
We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely and well located condo in Kona. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the lanai, overlooking the ocean, while planning our day. Many days we never set foot in the car - my idea of heaven! We walked easily into town for the wonderful farmer's market and to explore the shops and several really great restaurants. On other days we strolled the beaches and collected shells.
This condo is very well equipped with most everything you could possibly need. The decor is distinctly Hawaiian. The location is close by the spacious pool and spa. The exercise room offers a treadmill, elliptical, free weights, tv and a lending library. Several propane grills are available for sharing and are cleaned every day. Tables and chairs are available to dine by the grills, or easily take back to the lovely lanai.
We can't wait to return and will definitely stay in this same unit!
We stayed here for the whole month leading into the Ironman in October, we have 2 young children who loved the pool and the proximity to the beach and town- we walked almost every day to do something. So nice to not have to get in the car. The condo is very nicely furnished and has everything you need. Highly recommended.
