This guest house is conveniently located in Page in a residential area behind the main house. Simple and a clean place to sleep but there are no blackout curtains and the sun comes up really early in Page, Arizona. There isn't a place to relax outside either. This is only a drop and sleep place. For the same price I should have booked the Hyatt that has views, an outdoor pool, fitness center, free breakfast bar, and I'm quite sure it would have blackout curtains.
The guest house is designed like a hotel room which is why I'm comparing the two. There are two beds and a couch that pulls out into a sleeper all in one room just like a hotel room layout but if you want any time to yourself this isn't a place for that. I was able to get in some walks around the neighborhood but it's too far to walk to a coffee shop or anything like that.
If I could make a suggestion for improvements please add black out curtains like asap and make sure it is stocked well before renting it out. There is a kitchenette but the silverware is plastic and there was only knives and a couple forks (no spoons) in the drawer during my stay. There should also be some clean towels folded and stacked in the bathroom. I shouldn't have to go hunting for a clean towel to take a shower.
Personal touches can make a place feel welcome. A simple "hey I'm excited you are here" card or a snack basket is what I always look forward to but this place doesn't have any of that.
We did have a great time in Page
