Welcome to "The Luxury Holiday House"!

Welcome to The Luxury Holiday House — our charming little hideaway tucked into the heart of the North Georgia mountains. The name is a playful nod to the classic Crocodile Dundee film — it’s the “shack in the woods” Mick takes his sweetheart to, and we thought it only fitting since our very first guest was a cowboy all the way from Australia.... and it did kind of start out as a "shack in the woods"!

Set on a peaceful working farm just 10 minutes from both historic downtown Dahlonega and Dawsonville — and about an hour north of Atlanta — this cozy guest house is the perfect place to slow down and soak in a slice of southern living. Wake to the sound of a rooster crowing, hear a turkey gobble in the distance, and sip your morning coffee on the front porch as the sun rises.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay: a cozy queen bed, TV, kitchenette, private bathroom, and a welcoming space to unwind. Outside, enjoy evenings by the fire pit under a blanket of stars.

Whether you’re here to explore local wineries, hike mountain trails, or simply trade the city’s rush for a little fresh air and farm charm, The Luxury Holiday House is your sweet southern escape.

Adam's communication while we stayed was fantastic which was very welcoming. The house itself was a beautiful little studio cabin. The chickens/turkey were fun to see and they did not cause any disturbances at any point. It's a quiet stay with views of the mountains peeking through the trees. When my wife and I come back to Dahlonega we will definitely be staying here again.
