Nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a dead-end street, 'Boise's Gem' is within walking distance of a shopping center and several neighborhood restaurants and watering holes, as well as a park and public swimming pool. Boise State University is just a mile away and Downtown just half a mile further, so it's possible to bike to all of Boise's great city-center attractions (several museums, premier parks, the zoo, dozens of restaurants, great nightlife, shopping, farmer's markets, live theatre, entertainment venues, and more). The Greenbelt along the Boise River is within a mile of the house, giving access to many miles of wonderful walking and biking paths.

'LIVING LARGE' DOESN'T REQUIRE A MANSION
Inside, the spacious living room features a huge bank of south-facing windows for lots of natural light. The open floor plan flows into a dining room with a large table that seats seven, and into a roomy kitchen with a smaller table for more intimate, informal dining. The master bedroom contains a King bed and the second bedroom has a Queen, both with extremely comfortable pillow-top mattresses. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub and shower. Another (half) bathroom is convenient to the den and kitchen. The den faces the patio and back yard and features a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen television, a DVD player and movie library, and a convenient desk with keyboard for your laptop. The den is also a fully-functional third bedroom because the sofa coverts to a Queen-size bed and there is a small dresser and an armoire for clothing. Everything is on one level and accessible to most physically-challenged individuals.

Our home is in the 'Depot Bench' neighborhood, which gets its name from the beautiful, historic (and now decommissioned) Boise Train Depot. It's a safe, tree-shaded neighborhood just at the edge of Downtown and very close to BSU. A short path from our dead-end street leads to the Vista Avenue commercial district, which has a wide variety of shops, services, restaurants, and watering holes with local flavor.
About the owner: We have lived in Boise for more than 30 years and are happy to share our knowledge of this special place with our guests. Our hospitality experience (we have managed a mountain resort and an inn in Mexico) gives us a strong focus on our guests. We live near our rental property and are personally committed to ensuring your satisfaction.
