LOWER LEVEL OF HOME ONLY, NO SHARED SPACE. IDEAL LOCATION in the heart of the Southern Black Hills, 2 miles west of Keystone on the Old Hill City road, a famous motorcycling route. Experience the 1880 train that runs directly by the property. Enjoy the sites, specialty shops, great variety in food and entertainment with Mt Rushmore 5 minutes away, Crazy Horse within 20 minutes and if you enjoy gambling Deadwood is approximately 45 minutes travel time. For the nature lover, several hiking trails within walking distance. Owners live in the upper level of the home.

We can accommodate up to four people comfortably. We prefer children to be at least 8 years of age and older please!! There is a gas log stove in the living room area and wouldn't wish a younger child to touch it and get burnt!!

The property is nestled on a wooded lot, spacious open floor plan lower accommodations with separate entrance. Fully equipped kitchen, rec room houses arcade console, pool table, foosball table and a hockey table. Living room has satellite television and wi-fi included. Queen size bed in bedroom and 2 queen sofa sleepers in living room that house children well.

Outdoor space includes propane grill, table and chairs with additional seating available. Also a fire table to roast marshmallows, cook hot dogs or to enjoy some heat on our cool summer evenings!!! Child proof skewers are provided!

Our cleaning standards are above normal with Covid 19 on the rise. I use an additive that kills 99.99% of germs for all the laundry loads between stays. I also wash all bedding that includes sheets, blankets, comforter, mattress pads and even the zippered pillow protectors!! Also all towels, shower curtains and bath rug are laundered between guests. We use antibacterial wipes on all door knobs, pool sticks, pool balls, air hockey, foos ball table handles and arcade handles!!

Fabulous location near everything or close to the highway needed to get there. Lovely and co.fortable accommodations. Enjoyed the game room in the evenings and the outside gas fire table! The owners were delightful.

Great place to stay when visiting the Black hills. Very close to so many of the places to visit. And if you go on the 1880 train ride - it takes you right by the place. And then in the evening s'mores, grilling, pool table, air hockey, arcade games, watch a movie...Check in was smooth and with a mini tour of the place. The hosts were super nice and helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic Stay!

Rick and Linda were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about the area. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the game room and the fire pit with the bonus “welcome s’mores kit” was a fun surprise. The train was neat to watch and never annoying and the views were so relaxing from the patio. Great stay would definitely go again!

Great central location and all (and more) of the amenities you need. Linda and Rick really go out of the way to ensure you don't need anything, from the brochures and suggestions on trips, to the fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, you get it. Our only regret was that we didn't spend as much time in the game room, but hiking called. And the train literally passes right in front of the property, which is pretty cool. Finally, it became a game to guess what wildlife we'd see when we left in the morning: deer, turkeys, you name it. All in all, a great time.

Wonderful Stay!

Rick and Linda did not disappoint with the entire experience! Very clean and furnished with everything you need for a great vacation. Easy property to find and located in close proximity to many of the key destinations in Keystone and the Black Hills. We will definitely book this property again when returning to the area.

Perfect location, accommodations and hosts

We had a delightful time. A real plus is having an owner occupied VRBO. We enjoyed watching the 1880 train at about 9:45. The game room was ideal for our 3,12 year old grandsons, 4 fun games. There was a spacious feel to the place and the kitchen well- stocked with cooking supplies. I even made Belgian waffles one morning. Rick and Linda live conveniently located to many of the sights in the area. In spite of cool and sometimes rainy weather, we were able to do all we wanted to do, and it really helped having such a lovely place to call home for 4 days. Thank you Rick and Linda for your hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness.

Great place to stay for your South Dakota getaway

This was a nice place to stay with our family. The check-in process was great, and we were given a tour to help us make the most of our time there. It was centrally located—many scenic areas, state parks, and tourist activities were within 15 minutes. The kids (and dad) loved the game room as we unwinded after a long day exploring. It was an A+ experience!

Perfect base camp for our SD vacation

This property was the perfect choice for our family vacation to the Black Hills. The owners were fantastic and thought of everything. It was impeccably clean and comfortable, as well as fun for the kids. We will definitely stay here again on our next SD adventure.

Great stay in the Black Hills!

Our family had a wonderful trip to the Black Hills/Mt Rushmore!!! A big part of what made it great was staying here!!! It was a home away from home for our stay. Close to everything and the game room, puzzle, fire pit, etc were awesome!! Owners thought of it all! Can't say enough about how great this home was. Stay here for your trip to South Dakota!!!

Beautiful property

This place was perfect for our family! Our kids loved the game room. This place is very close to Mt. Rushmore(less than 10 minutes) and to Keystone where there are shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great stay in the Black Hills

Our family loved staying at this wonderful property. The kids loved using the pool table, air hockey and games, making s’mores on the outdoor fire pit, and watching the 1880 train roll by. The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful in all the amenities provided and such a well stocked kitchen. We couldn’t ask for a better and more comfortable stay!

This property is a great location close to Keystone. The hosts have gone out of their way to provide a warm and welcoming environment with many distractions that will keep your kids occupied while you sit back and relax and just enjoys your vacation.
