The cabin has a comfortable living room, wood stove/fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, hot water teapot, waffle iron, blender, microwave, elec. food chopper, toaster oven, and two crockpots. Enclosed back porch with rockers and views into the woods. A private main bedroom on the first floor has a queen-sized bed. Two loft bedrooms upstairs have 1 queen sized bed, one futon, and two twins, one of which has a trundle bed pull-out.
The deer come and go most anytime. We have had two bear incidents so far. One was a bear on the back porch because someone left food there. The other was a bear walking up the driveway past the camp. They are always sniffing out food. Just keep it inside when you are done eating.
Internet phone can call anywhere in the country for free, internet is available, flat-screen TV in LR, another TV upstairs for VCRs and DVDs.
Plenty of VHS and DVD movies, 100 or so, including lots of kid's movies, are there at the cabin to watch on rainy days. Two TV's and players, one upstairs for the kids movies, and one down.
We have a nice library of books on shelves throughout the the cabin, many of which are Adirondack oriented. Great for rainy day reading.
There is also a good collection of CDs, mostly country and western, for you to play. Be careful when you use them please.
