Enjoy the convenience of 2 bathrooms with showers and hair dryer. And a beautiful outside enclosed shower to get that sand off you before you unwind in the house. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember.. 4 bedrooms, 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, 2 Twin beds in 3rd bedroom and 2 twin beds in 4th bedroom. 2 Full Baths (showers/ no tubs) Outside Shower to shower off sand before going into the house after enjoying a day at the beach!! Standard Pack n Play and High Chair. Bed linens and towels included. Standard Coffee maker. Relax on the large deck and watch the amazing sunset, sit by the awesome firepit with FREE firewood included, walk the private, uncrowded, sandy beach to 2 islands, fish from the jetty, bring your Kayak or Canoe and launch from the beach or the nearby launch just 2 minute drive away. Great restaurant's and shopping all nearby. Close to Kennebunkport, Cape Porpoise and Portland. Short 45 minute drive to Port- Portsmouth New Hampshire or 1.5 hours to Boston.

My husband and I stayed a week of July 4th. The owner was very easy to deal with and very helpful. The beach is about a block away with beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset.I would recommend this house.

We really enjoyed the location and the easy access to the beach. We had two small children in our group so only having a short walk to the beach was excellent. The beach chairs and toys that were provided were great! The house was nice with a good deck area for morning coffee/outdoor meals. Check in was smooth as was check out. Communication with the host was prompt and we didn’t run into any significant issues. Overall we would consider coming back to this rental. That said, there were some issues with cleanliness. The floors were pretty dusty in spots, especially in the corners of the living room. This was a concern with small kids that wanted to crawl around on the floor. Also, almost all the dishes in the cabinets had food crusted on them when we arrived. The dishwasher worked well for us, so it was a little odd that very few of the dishes were clean.Again, we really enjoyed the location, the house was overall a good choice for us, but it would have been nice if things were a bit cleaner.

I didn’t receive a check in code until I almost to the property, no ocean view, there were a previous guests clothing in the outdoor shower, the grass in the yard was extremely dry, causing it to be picky so the kids couldn’t play outside. Neighbors yards were beautiful! We were there on 90 degree days and the home owners thought 75 was a reasonable temperature inside. I had to pretty much beg to get the thermostat set to 70 as they put a lock on it. Pack and play is less than 1/2 the size of a normal one. The access point to the beach is very narrow. Difficult to get a beach cart through let alone a stroller. The beach was full of deer flies. We left after 15 mins of being there. Def was not worth the hassle. Idk if I would call this location kid friendly as advertised. I thought it would be nice to venture somewhere other than Wells. Lesson learned. We’ll stick to Wells and York!

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with aspects of your stay. While we do not advertise the property as having a water view, there are a few peekaboo views of the water from both the house and the street. Regarding the thermostat, we had just replaced it prior to your arrival and let you know that it was behaving a bit unpredictably. We also assured you that we would be happy to adjust the temperature remotely to whatever was most comfortable for you. Unfortunately, your visit coincided with greenhead season, which is a short, seasonal occurrence along the Maine coast. Thankfully, it is nearly over now. While we understand they can be a nuisance, this is a regional, seasonal condition and is not unique to our beach. Our beach is one of the features guests consistently praise. It is especially family-friendly, with gentle waters, no undertows, expansive low tides, and the unique ability to walk to two nearby islands. Over the past 20 years, we've received many compliments from guests who appreciate these qualities, along with the fact that the beach is enjoyable without feeling overcrowded. The Pack 'n Play provided is a standard-size model, as is typical for vacation rentals. Finally, we sincerely apologize that a small child's swimsuit top was inadvertently left in the outdoor shower by our cleaning team. This was clearly an oversight, and had we been notified during your stay, we would have been happy to remove it immediately. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to provide the best experience for future guest.

We absolutely loved our stay in Biddeford! The house is walking distance from a beautiful beach that had a beautiful sunset and at low tide you can walk wayyyy out into the ocean. You are within a half hour to a bunch of tourist attractions, including OOB and Funtown/Splashtown, without being right in the middle of the tourist chaos. The house had two bedrooms on the upstairs main floor and two bedrooms downstairs with another bathroom. Quiet peaceful neighborhood, also had a shed on site with beach toys and other items available for use. Communication with Kiki was great, she was always very quick to respond. A couple of quick notes for future quests and Kiki:1. The Boothbay pictures are a little misleading as they are 1.5 hours away, not close to the house (may want to mark that on the photos).2. May be helpful to guests with kiddos that the bedrooms are on two different floors (not a big deal, just something to help with planning).3. I had to ask for check-in/unlock info on my way to Maine instead of being provided the day/morning of.4. One designated area for notes would be helpful. There were notes on the upstairs table, the downstairs table, and the fridge. I missed the checkout list because I thought the note on the kitchen table was the only one.Super small notes, but again, we absolutely loved our stay and would 100% stay again!

This is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood by the sea, you will see kids riding bikes, neighbors chatting, and may see a visit from the local ice cream truck! No crowds!

What makes this property unique

The property is unique due to its location. The river is 2 minutes away to the left, and the beach is a couple of minutes walk away to the right. If you walk down the path towards the beach, if you walk to the left, you can walk the river beaches. If you walk to the right, you can walk the ocean beaches at low tide from the oceanside. You can walk to 2 islands. Our family friendly beach is very quiet typically and never crowded.
