Beautiful home

Our stay was awesome. The home is beautiful and very close to many stores. The only problem we encountered was not having any internet. Unfortunately I was not able to work due to that but other than that everything else was good. The only feedback that I have would be to replace the barstools

Our stay

There was a few things we needed the host for but they were great very fast responding and sent maintenance right away, they fixed everything and they were great to work with! Only thing The wifi didnt work for us the whole duration of our stay, and 1 tv in one of the master rooms but other then that the house is beautiful and the pool was amazing. There was some cockroaches despite being super clean, but we know your going to get the odd one in florida no matter where you stay! The house is very big and spacious and accommodating. Great villa. It was our second stay! Well be back someday.

Horrible

If you want to be comfortable it is best to sleep on the floor. Beds in quuen and king rooms are flat and you feel the springs. Sofa downstairs sinks in when you sit on it. Dead roaches on floors. Little roach motel kits all in cabinets. Pots were greasy in cabinets. Shower curtains got mildew stains all over. Go to a hotel not stay here. Pool was halfway fullfull with bugs.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was good, but it wasn't the house that we originally picked. The house we picked was 538 Orange Comos Blvd Davenport, Florida. We did not know this was changed till we received an email, stating we didn't pay for pool heating and no BBQ. Then I found out the house address they gave us, the original house we wanted had a BBQ included at no charge and we had to pay for heating pool, not a issue. The house we got waved rental fee but charged for grill cleaning 45.00 which was an extra cost for us. Just wish that we were notified of the change and why.

Una casa hermosa

La pasamos increíble. Nos cambiaron la casa a pocos días de nuestro viaje y eso nos asustó un poco, pero cuando llegamos la casa nueva que nos habían asignado superó nuestras expectativas y la pasamos demasiado bien. Equipada con todo lo que necesitamos 12 personas, limpieza impecable y todos los utensilios de cocina necesarios. Volvería sin dudarlo, nos encantó.

Beautiful rental

Property was very beautiful. Location is also great. Plenty of rooms for us not to be on top of each other. We did find the beds in the master bedrooms to be incredibly soft and a little difficult to sleep in. There was no pack&play/crib on site. Home was cleaned upon arrival. A little maintenance is needed. Would consider staying again.

By far the worst rental experience

We arrived to a dirty home. There was a pile of garbage left in the garage and that came with a foul odor and bugs. The dishes were dirty. There were blood stains on the some of the sheets and pillow cases. The upkeep of the home was horrible. The couches were ripped towel racks, shower rods and blinds were broken. We had to spend the first few days of our vacation cleaning everything to feel comfortable. And the worst part is i have been trying all week to reach the management company and have had zero response. Do yourself a favor and do not rent a home managed by At Home Vacation Rentals

Great location but dirty sheets, cloudy swimming pool and stained furniture left us very unhappy

2000 characters isn’t enough to review this poor excuse for a high end property. Filthy bed sheets in the master suite with what can only be described as human stains on them. Wrinkled and clearly slept in sheets in one of the other rooms and a possible blood stain in a third. Cloudy, dirty pool with a smelly tub covered in green algae! Seriously, who is doing the cleaning here? Dirty sofa in the living area. Vertical blinds which kept falling off their rail. A cutlery draw with 3 teaspoons and 9 forks in a 6 bed house! Blunt, chipped and broken knives that were quite frankly dangerous. Big shout out to Gisele at At Home Rentals who quickly and sympathetically sorted out any issue raised but she really shouldn’t have to. To whoever is responsible, buy some decent knives, some more cutlery, and make sure your cleaning contractors actually do the job you’re paying them for. Great location but absolutely wouldn’t go back. Hate giving bad reviews but this was just so poor. Shame really as outside the house, we had a wonderful time. I hope I can post some photos but if not, I’ll be copying this to Vrbo where I’ll post them there.

I have mixed Feelings

The House looked great in the listing. but there was a bunch of issues and the only one that got taken care of was a toilet issue. The house wasn't cleaned, the linen was dirty, there was sex toys and paraphernalia all over the house. Also out by the pool was alcohol and drug paraphernalia that the kids came across. Filter on the Fridge needs to be changed, cant make ice with an old filter. Tv's didnt have power cords, some no batteries. Not to mention the ant infestation in the bedroom downstairs. My daughter got bit up something serious. Also seen a couple roaches, we couldnt even take our clothes out of our bags. the untensils were all beat to hell, knives all had broken tips, pots with no lids. only thing was good was that its in Champions Gate. Or i would have left and found another place to stay. I reached out for a refund because my daughter broke out really bad to the insect bites but i know you all will not give those funds back. i should have just sent you my doctor bill for the meds i had to get her to clear the bumps and rashes she got. Get some professional cleaners who not going to do half ass jobs. I really do want a refund and i'm really thinking up taking this up the chain. this was totally unacceptable. MY kids running around with a Rose thinking its a damn bubble maker. and then finding a strap under the bed. i really wasnt going to do a review but im pissed off because you all wont give me my money back. Stop using fabric freshener on the linen and wash.

Amazing, clean, and fun

There was so much space to come together and make memories as a family. I love all of the amenities. It was clean. The house is gorgeous. Great communication with the owner. My trip could not have gone smoother. I loved it! I wish definitely be coming back.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our accommodations were less than ideal, but we made the best of the situation. For what we paid, we were very disappointed. The pictures that were advertised was not a true representation of the house. The house was very run down and required a tremendous amount of maintenance. The walls needed to be painted, the carpets cleaned, the moldings replaced, blinds replaced, cupboards almost off the hinges and chunks of wood missing, the netted pool area needed to be replaced. The cooking utensils were very used and there were no knives to cut anything up. There was hole in one of the doors, gum stuck in the carpet and the house desperately needed a DEEP clean. There wasn’t even a proper broom to use. The one that was there looked like it was about 10 years old and taped up with duck tape. The baseboards and rails looked like they haven’t been dusted in 6 months. You could take your finger and draw a picture in the dust. When we arrived, there was a dead cockroach in the master bedroom closet and one in one of the cupboards. During our stay we came across two more live cockroaches in the bedroom on the main floor. There were also multiple bugs (water beetles and smaller cockroaches) in the pool but no net to scoop them out. There was a net there, but the mesh was missing! We were using a mug during our stay. We called the property manager when and sent pictures as we were concerned that we could be charged additional for some items that were damaged and expressed our dissatisfaction on the level of cleanliness. They did send in someone to clean the the pool and a cleaner. They were there for approximately 10-15 minutes and the lady who came was so rude to my husband and rolled her eyes multiple times and made us feel that we were being an inconvenience to her. Said that they would send a net, it never arrived. We paid for a BBQ rental for the 2 weeks, no propane tank. We were 5 days with no propane. We were not refunded. This could be a very nice unit if m

Great house but needs a deep clean and lots of updating

The house itself is lovely and big (pics don’t do the size justice). The layout is great and there was plenty of space/chill out areas for 4 adults and 4 children. It’s in the very secure, gated Championsgate so felt safe. We stayed during spring break so noise was an issue at night on a few occasions with parties going on through the night at neighbouring properties which wasn’t great, but certainly not the fault of the host and security were helpful in trying to get them to keep it down. The house is very close to the Disney parks and lots of shops and restaurants, as well as being close to the Championsgate Oasis club, so location is ideal. However, the house is pretty run down and not particularly clean, so is in need of a refresh in every area. Some things we encountered whilst there are as follows: - general dirtiness of the house; dead flies and dust/dirt on the windowsills and surfaces, stained and marked walls, dirty carpets, sofas etc, bathroom cupboards covered in soap/toothpaste marks, dirty water in kitchen sink when we arrived, lots of ‘bits’ in the corners of rooms/under furniture, soft toys on the kids’ beds very dirty. It definitely hadn’t had a proper clean in a long time - pool net was missing the net part so when we got a small snake in the pool we had nothing to get it out with - towel rails frequently fell off the walls in multiple bathrooms - smell of drains in one en-suite bathroom that returned despite running the water - lamps not working - beds so soft in some rooms that it felt you were going to hit the floor - new mattresses needed - we paid extra for pool heating but it wasn’t particularly warm - towels very thin and small, so at least 2 needed per person - not enough towels for a large group - sofas in lounge ripped along the back and very beaten up If this house had a refresh, thorough clean and a bit of furniture replacing it would be a fantastic house in a great location. We were out so much at the Disney parks that none of the above were major issues for us, but for anyone wanting to spend a bit of time at their villa, I could see them being more of a problem. If the house was given some TLC we’d definitely consider staying again, but until then I’d probably look elsewhere.

At home vacation sucks

Couldn't even get in the gate for over an hour along with about 180 other people. House wasn't very clean. I asked them to turn our heat on the day before we arrived and it was never done. Spent everyday calling and emailing them to turn the heat on and during my 5 day vacation they never came.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well, I will start by saying that the decor in the home is beautiful!! Location is excellent especially for the parks, eating and even shipping! However with the home 3 bed frames that were broken and the picture above is just showing one of those. I was contacted personally on the way down from NC in which I was advised one was broken and that someone will be out to fix or get in contact with me ( which no one ever did throughout the course of our stay). I sent emails, texts yo the number as well as sending emails to mgmt. Towels were dirty, my 7 yr old son had to kill bugs in the u/s bathroom. Poor internet connection especially if you have elderly staying behind while others are out just an inconvenience for them not to mention they couldn't sleep properly. This we did not enjoy at all. Overall the only reason why this was enjoyable bc we were with family or out to the parks! Not staying again , hopefully others see this too, just a warning!

I don’t ever put reviews unless good. I gave the property managers ample time to make it right as I understand some things are out of their control, however I would never recommend this house. I will not post the many multiple poor things that happened to us from a sanitary or safety standpoint while there or the lack of response from property management company. 8 unhappy travelers and were happy to move to our next one for second part of week! 1 day in the new home and we are as happy as can be!

Exactly what we needed

The house was just as described. Plenty of space for our 2 families and very comfortable. Short drive to Disney. The only downside was that the kitchen was very sparse with basic cooking/eating supplies. We would definitely stay here again!

The gate employee was rude. Pool was not heated we paid extra for that. Was accused of tampering with a box outside that was open when we arrived. Dryer did not work properly was told someone would come look at it. No knr showed up. There were bugs under the sink and in bathrooms. Team member I spoke to was rude. I asked to speak to manager or owner never received a call. It took months to plan this trip and we looked at dozen of properties before deciding. You were quick to take my money but not to fix my problems.

Could be managed better...

I'll start by saying we had a great vacation , however there are some issues with the home that made our time here slightly less enjoyable. Two major items , the door code stopped working after 7 days, emails and phone calls went either unanswered or unhelpful. The alarm system was going off one night we came home , kept everyone up for an extra 2 hours ,then continued to go off every day in the middle of the night. Property management said they came by but nothing changed. You are on your own if it's not Monday to Friday from 8 -5pm. Some minor things that could be better , many dishes were in cupboard dirty, I assume from just running through dishwasher without a scrub, no salt and pepper , very few towels, very few garbage bags, very little dishwasher pods, no laundry pods, very little toilet paper.
