Life is too short for boring stays! Step back in time at a cozy, convenient & colorful mid-century getaway at the base of the mountain in Acorn, 5 min from Mena.

The home combines retro style with the comforts of today- Smart TV, WiFi, washer/dryer, & a fully stocked kitchen.

This authentic 1960s home has been refreshed while keeping its retro charm alive. Whether you’re here to explore the outdoors or simply unwind, this cozy spot offers a fun mix of nostalgia & convenience.

Relax in a cozy living room with plush couches, a Smart TV with Roku, board games, books, and even a red light therapy device for downtime.

Guests also enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with all the cookware you’ll need & complimentary coffee, snacks, and pantry spices. There is also a small bbq grill outside.

Sleep soundly in two queen bedrooms featuring Zinus mattresses, fresh linens, and both goosefeather and firm pillow options.

For your peace of mind, all beds include mattress encasements, protectors, and pillow protectors. A futon provides extra sleeping space for additional guests.

This was a very neat cozy little house. It was very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, microwave and an air fryer. The bathroom was clean and well maintained as was the laundry room. The property also has easy access to the main road. We would highly recommend staying at Retro Rest. If we need to book another stay in Mena it would be our first choice.

We loved the retro vibe here! It was clean, the hosts were attentive and friendly, they did a great job of keeping the charm of an older home while still doing some nice updates. The location is a little outside of town which meant it was quiet. It’s also only a few miles away from Queen Wilhelmina State Park, we drove up and had breakfast before we left town.

Clean, cute bungalow with everything you need...games, coffee, extra blankets, and much more. We were there for a trail run, and the house is a perfect distance to trails, restaurants, and and a brewery.Tasha, our host, was quickly responsive and helpful.
