Contemporary Cottages Quiet, Wooded Deer Isle Setting. Pressey Woods is a forested retreat in a quiet and off the beaten path location in Deer Isle. Pressey Woods is assembled by a main Cottage and a guest cottage, providing plenty of opportunity to bring the family together. The setting is located off Perez Crossroad and Dunham Point Road, a well known area of Deer Isle. Pressey Woods is within walking distance to a public beach known locally as Sylvesters Cove. The beach overlooks the Deer Isle Yacht Club, where the Eagle Island Ferry leaves, to make arrangements for ferry rides, guests can contact Sunset Bay Company.

Pressey Woods main cottage is two bedrooms and one bathroom. The layout and design are contemporary and welcoming. The main cottage has great natural light and an open floor plan. Guests enter in to a comfortable and well furnished living room / dining area that is open to the kitchen. There is a dining room table set for six and a living room area with a television with satellite service, full size couch and comfortable arm chair. The kitchen does have a step down from the living/dining area and has all the components to make meals from the comfort of your vacation rental. The Kitchen is outfitted with an electric range, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, drip coffeemaker, microwave and a toaster.

There are two bedrooms in the main cottage. The master bathroom, which is off the kitchen side of the cottage and has a queen bed, a large closet and direct access to the screened in porch. From the master bedroom you can enter the utility room which has a washer and dryer as well as general home items that are stored in this common space (fans, extra linens and cleaning aides). The second bedroom is accessible from the dining / living area on the opposite side of the cottage. There is a step down to get to the second bedroom which has a full bed and a closet for clothing storage. There is a full bathroom in the main cottage. The bathroom does have you stepping down in to the space. The bathroom has a full bath with shower and tub combo.

Pressey Woods also includes an additional guest cottage as part of the offering. Upon entering the guest house, you arrive in a small living area with a loveseat. The guest quarters has an efficiency kitchen with small fridge, sink and toaster oven. Pressey Woods guest quarters has a 3/4 bathroom with a large walk in shower and a private bedroom with a full size bed.

The grounds of Pressey Woods are most glorious. Open spaces of lawn and hardwood trees make this a nice place to relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing. There is a picnic patio in the backyard at Pressey Woods that offers a great outdoor area with seating and a gas grill to enjoy meals in the great outdoors. The screened in porch is the perfect outside space in less ideal weather or to enjoy mosquito free outdoor time.
