Step back in time at the Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg Resort, located on 256 acres of rolling woodland hills in historic Williamsburg, Virginia. The resort features a distinguished manor house that was originally built in 1735 and captures the true essence of its Colonial surroundings. Discover the nation’s history at one of Williamsburg’s history museums, monuments or battlefields, and immerse yourself in the city’s Colonial spirit. The Historic Powhatan Resort features an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court and playground. Accommodations also include include a private balcony or patio. The property has no elevators. Amazing stay

This was an amazing place to stay ! Better than we had imagined! Everything was clean top to bottom, easy drive to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, resort had activities all day long for kids of all ages. Highly recommend!!

Pleasant stay

I am impressed by the overall cleanliness of this property. The rooms fit our needs . The check-in and check-out was with no hassles . I enjoyed the pool. My children liked the mini golf court. Overall great experience . Will return again.

Family trip to Williamsburg 2021

This property was perfect for a family vacation. We had several friends in the area and had plenty of room to have them all over. 'This is an older property but has been well maintained. The only challenge was the parking. If you had two vehicles it was hard to find and close place to park.

Really nice site - bugged by sales team entire stay

Attended the sales presentation and they were relentless. Constantly calling all week to offer me the same offer, which I repeatedly said no. Also, restaurant, coffee house, pools, fitness facilities not open and did not see any mention of that on web site. lastly, trying to load my car to leave and they inactivated my key card prior to the 10 am check out time. Unit was very nice and location to Colonial Williamsburg great!

Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful! This property was perfect for our stay and reasonably priced in comparison to other similar properties. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Great spot for families!

We visited the Williamsburg area with my 3 kids (7,4,2) and had a great stay at the Powhatan. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The property was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The pool was so much fun, and it was very conveniently located to Yorktown Beach, Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown Settlement. Would stay here again and recommend it!

overall good experience

My only complaint is the online description of this property. It does say 2 twins or a queen in one bedroom. However the description does not say that in order to get the twin beds you need to ask for a downstairs unit. I did not know this and ended up with an upstairs unit which made it difficult on my family. I contacted Josh with the management company and he and the owner desperately tried to fix it by getting us moved but the resort was not accommodating. We made the best of it. I greatly appreciated Josh and the owner trying and keeping in touch with us. My recommendation is to add to the listing to request downstairs if needing twins. However, this would not deter me from staying again. It was a wonderful place and we enjoyed it very much.

Our First Time at Powhatan Resort

We are a family of four: husband and wife and two children ages 12 and 10. We had an absolutely wonderful time at this historic and beautiful resort! We were amazed at how very well maintained the property was. In addition, we loved all of the amenities: washer/dryer, dining room, living room, sun room, outdoor patio area. We were astonished! The Bar and Grille Restaurant was very nice. I would only suggest that they add grits, cream of wheat and oatmeal on their breakfast menu. Other than that, everything was good! We enjoyed playing miniature golf. The kids went swimming, when my husband and I went into the sauna. All of the major attractions are no more than 27 minutes away from this resort. We're already planning our next vacation before the end of 2018. This will definitely be a staple for us!
