Hello my wife Christine and I reside in Hudson Ohio. We firmly believe that the family is an amazing gift from God. As such we purchased this home for other families to gather and spend time together, telling stories, exploring the property and woods, sitting around camp fires, and making memorable times for their children to cherish for the rest of their lives.
Jesse Dolan purchased this cabin in 2013
This luxury cabin on 2 acres of pristine country. THe pool is beautiful, clean and well kept. You can enjoy the lake, woods, trails, state parks, but it is also close to many of the major cities in North East ohio. It is a 35 minute drive for us from Hudson! It is also close to Cleveland (45 minutes), Columbus (2.5 hrs) , Pittsburg(2hours), Youngstown (1hour) and Akron (20 minutes)
Hartville is a beautiful country town, with rolling hills and is known for its huge outdoor flea markets, Hartville Kitchens has the best pies in the state, and Hartville True Value is known for its selection of top notch carpentry tools.
We had a three generation family stay here for a long weekend. This is truly a wonderful place for that kind of weekend. The pool is the highlight of the property - it's maintained very well, has the correct chlorine level and was very clean. The umbrellas help provide shade as it's out in the open. There is a hot tub also. The cabin was immaculate - all the bedrooms are very nice and comfortable, plus there's a futon in the loft above the main living area. The great room is wonderful with three big couches - plenty of room for everyone to sit together. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, paper products, soap, etc. - has just about everything you need for cooking. There is another living area in the basement but we didn't really use it - looks very nice though! The owner was very quickly responsive to text messages when we had some minor issues with the hot tub. The surrounding area is very pretty, rolling and lots of wooded areas. The cabin is very private, far back from the road, with fences and trees around the property lines. Our deposit was returned promptly. All in all, we had a wonderful time.
This place was simply awesome! It was clean, comfortable and a "home away from home". We had everything at our fingertips! My three adult brothers, husband, three teenager daughters, and my toddler stayed here with plenty of room. We even had about 30 people over for a party -- the kids ran around the yard, played in the hot tub and pool and we cooked s'mores! No issues with parking -- we all fit in the driveway! It was simply awesome. I cant say enough about the wonderful stay. Thank you! We will be back!
Owner is prompt in answering questions. Clean and comfy. Enjoyed the pool and fire pit.
Plenty of room for privacy, Will tell my friends about it. We had a couple of meals at the Hartville Kitchen. GOOD FOOD. Basement bedrooms are cool while bedroom upstairs was warm. Good to know when deciding who sleeps in what rooms. Bathrooms are nice and big. The backyard makes you feel like you are in a secluded area.
We had a great time at the luxury cabin and made good use of the property. The pool, hot tub, and playground were a big plus. We definitely would return. The owner was very prompt about answering any questions we had. Clean and Comfortable!
I recently stayed at the Generations Cabin with 15 other woman for a girls retreat! There was ample space, breathtaking environment inside and out! Everyone that walked through the door exclaimed "I wish I lived here"! There was not any detail left undone! From the fully stocked kitchen and baths, comfortable beds and linens, tons of gathering space in and out, and a wonderful hot tub to boot! Our one nights stay wasn't nearly long enough! We will return.....
We stayed at the cabin over Labor Day. We loved everything the cabin had to offer. The pool was really nice and maintained well. The cabin was wonderful. It had everything we needed as a family of 6 with 4 small kids. I highly recommend staying here. There is a lot to do in the area including hiking, winery and a very large fea market.
Hartville Ohio is in the heart of Ohio country. Rolling hills, wineries, antiquing, and Hartville True Value Hardware and the Hartville Kitchens and Outdoor Market Place are must see destinations!
