Lakefront Oasis - Hot Tub, Fire Pit & EV Charger

Welcome to The Docks @ Waterside, a comfortable all season retreat sitting atop the shores of the Portage Lakes! There's a lakeside hot tub with plenty of room to lounge. Relax in the sun on the patio, play in the water, or fish from one of the two docks! Rent a boat and have easy access to the lake! Or stay in to relax and read one of our favorite books. There is room to craft, create a vision board, or puzzle on the large table overlooking the lake.

We're close to many restaurants, grocery stores, golfing, parks and much more to keep you busy!

There are 4 bedrooms, a dining room with a table for 10, a well-equipped kitchen, and 1.5 baths. The driveway has an EV charger and can park 4 cars.

Between May and the end of September you'll have access to two single-person kayaks.

The property and the owner were very nice. The house was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and enjoyed having the quiet ceiling fan at night. Hot tub was perfect for our group. Loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning. The window lined eating area made for a perfect place for cards, dining and just boat watching. Thank you and we hope to be back soon.

Simply amazing

The families who own this house know what they are doing. Everything was absolutely amazing from the cleanliness of the house and the hot tub, to the sharpest knives and amazing coffee center. We had a little friend get away and this house was the perfect distance for all of us. We pretty much sat outside near the hot tub every day, just talking, fishing and enjoying life. The sunsets were absolutely amazing !!!! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We will be back.❤️🍁🍂

Birthday/Retirement/New Job/New Baby / Recovery Celebration

We enjoyed a much needed family get together to celebrate so many happy family events. This was a perfect setting for relaxed family fun! We cooked, relaxed and enjoed our time together! This was much needed and possible as this was an ideal setting and centrally located for our group. The home had everything we needed and our hosts were super responsive! We had a blast. The views from the dining room and hot tub were breathtaking!

Experiencing sunsets in comfort two feet from the water was mesmerizing with the reflections on the lake, the birds and ducks swooping about, and the family boating to their delight.

Golf trip/ guys trip

I myself have a house and Portage Lakes but had 15 guys coming up for the weekend from Pittsburgh where i live. So we needed an extra house. This property is amazing! Little jealous because its nicer than my lakehouse, lol. Its just perfect, what a job decorating and furnishing this property. Cant wait to use it again next year.

Would have been great even without the eclipse!

We had a perfect vantage point for our main travel goal, seeing the eclipse, but the house itself was very comfortable and charming. The view over the lake was always welcome, as were our hosts, who were always responsive and helpful. Excellent set up for a family looking for a quiet spot to explore the parks nearby--the only heads up I would give is to plan your sleeping arrangements well if you have small kids. The floors do creak, so the basement is going to be noisy. We got creative with childproofing the stairs, but we all had a blast!

No matter what the weather, or activity level of the guest, this place will accommodate it all. Plenty of options to play in the sun or just hang and relax in the shade. No matter the mood, this place will suffice

Everything you could want!

Everything was provided for our stay! Very comfortable. Nice area as well. Two suggestions. The broken step on the waterside door. We would have fixed but didn't have our tools. Also the Chlorine needs to be better marked. We thought it was salt and pepper. Kind of funny but could have been dangerous. You have a very nice updated lake home!

Very Charming Weekend Getaway

Very nice, for our families long weekend. We were at the dock the most, enjoyed the Hot Tub. We really enjoyed all of our family meals in the Dining room, great views of the water. Made S’mores around the fire pit on 2 nights. We also attended an Akron Rubber Ducks Ballgame. On our last day, we rented a Pontoon, and toured the lake area. We also used the kayaks. We had an awesome time!

Golf trip

We used the house as a spill over house for all the guts that were coming up for a golf weekend. The house was amazing. Best property on the lake I have used. Highly recommend it

Quiet Getaway

We had an excellent stay at this nicely renovated home right next to the water's edge. Our stay was the middle of March so we knew weather would be a gamble. Unfortunately it turned cold and windy which hindered outside activity, but we made the best of it in the sunny dining room. We also found many fun things to do indoors at local establishments: a concert at Akron Civic Theater, many good wineries, and great local bars with local bands, good food, and trivia contests. Ohio residents are awesome!

What a way to wake up every morning overlooking the water.

Just unbelievable place to stay with my family. My daughter had a Futsal tournament in Akron. It was only a $200 dollar difference between 2 hotel rooms at the Hilton Garden's, or have the luxury of staying at this beautiful property.

Relaxing with beautiful views

This property is situated directly on Portage Lake. It is beautifully decorated and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax after a long day even with it being winter. It was within 20 min of all the places I had to visit on this trip, with many options for food delivery. I will definitely be booking this property again when visiting my family in OH.

Lake stay

The property location is ideal for area. The lake views from house, bedroom, hot tub and deck were incredible. The hot tub looking at the lake was a huge bonus. All supplies were provided. I would absolutely book this again.
