Nice Property

Overall the stay was Great! However there were challenges with the heating and cooling. Ceiling fans were inoperable and some of the beds were uncomfortable.

World Series Stay

My daughter’s softball team was playing their World Series tournament in Ocean Springs. This was the perfect place to stay for a week. The amount of room in the house was great! Everything was clean and just all around perfect. Be sure to bring your fishing poles. If we play here again, I will definitely try my best to book her again.

This property was spectacular. My friends and family had an awesome vacation here! The owner was amazing and I would love to rent from her again. If you are looking for that dream rental, that feels like home, this is the place! I wish I didn't have to leave but I look forward to returning!

Our overall stay was very nice! The house was very nice besides some not so tidy places but it wasn’t nothing we couldn’t tidy up ourselves. We didn’t have a hard time finding the property which was a plus! I reached out to the owner with a particular question & I got a response right away! It was more than enough space for my family & I! I would definitely stay at this property again! We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We were 4 couples and plenty of room to spread out. The house had everything we needed and the game room gave us tons of entertainment and laughter. The only note is the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms gave me the impression each room had a bathroom but wasn’t the case. Also, only handsoap in the bathrooms so bring body wash. Towels were limited for such a large group. Other than that, the house was perfect. Very clean, and a fabulous outdoor deck to sit out and relax after a day on the water with your own boat slips (another plus!)

Worked well for our group

Although the size of the home and sleeping options worked well for our group, the property could use some TLC, upkeep, and maintenance. A few examples of what I am talking about are the filthy entryways, sections of drywall that have been patched but not painted, only half the master shower functioned, the items in the game room are broken, the sectional is worn out where you can feel the springs, a chair is missing in the dining room. The best features, in my opinion, are the back deck, the spacious visiting areas to converse with other guests, and ample parking. There needs to be more towels for a house this size. The description clearly has not been updated in a while and is inaccurate. The home is 2 stories, not 3, and there are 2.5 baths on the main level not 3. We made it work for our group and had a nice time, but I can't give it more than a 3-star rating. It could be much more but needs cleaning and maintenance.

Bittersweet!

Bittersweet is what I have to say about this a beautiful home, plus the location was perfect for not being on the beach. The house though was kind of a disappointment because the house could really use some home improvements. The entrance was horrible and scary, being that it was up under the house to enter the staircase to the door, it was not clean at all spiders and spiderwebs was everywhere having to clean and spray them myself was not fun at all. The upstairs bedrooms only one bedroom had a TV which wasn't a big deal but a preference. The master bedroom was beautiful and amazing with only one problem, the master bathroom had an unfinished drywall patch that was a sore to the eyes. The kitchen, living room and dining room was fine just needed better decor and cleanliness especially to the windows and glass doors. The game room also needed some improvements starting the pool table, the pockets on the table was falling from the table not secure, the walls was plain needing some decor and paint, the dot machine needs to be replaced and most of all the floor is horrible seems like there was previously a fire because the floor had dark spots and was buckled up in spots. The whole house can use a fresh coat of paint and just a little TLC (tender, love and care). The staircase to the upstairs bedrooms the one with the carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced. The last thing was the top decks and the boat deck, the top decks are old and getting to be dangerous, some of the boards are weak and suspect but everything needs to be repainting or stained. The patio furniture on the deck was horrible including the grills everything needs to be throwed away and replaced. My overall assessment is that I, we really love this house it just needs some upgrades and TLC.

Shocking

This place received overal great reviews and this must have been a bad day because mostly everyone gave this place a "5". Grass was too tall and uncut.Flower beds were unkept and loaded with tall grass. Microwave and stove were dirty. Comode in the masterbath did not work. It was hot upstairs - each room had a floor fan & ceiling fan- obviously due to an inadequate cooling system. Found dead and lives roaches in the pantry. Found rat/mice droppings in the pantry. Both grills were filty as well as the entire garage. No house number on house or anywhere we could see. Not enough tissue or garbage bags on site. After talking to the local manager or contact she told me here cleaning team moved and the grass was assigned to be cut.. She wanted to send some one over to resolve all problems inside but I declined as I had elderly sisters and I didnt want them exposed to any cleaning / Maintenance personnel. She sent some one to cut the grass by 530 pm the second day - but they did not do anything to the flower beds. She offered to give us up to $100.00 because the place had no fishing rods as published in the written instructions. On the third day she she asked us if we wanted to leave -as I provided her pictures of all my complaints but we had no reservations I think this is enough. Something went badly wrong during our visit. I ask for a reduction in total cost and they offered $449.00 . I am very displeased with that offer. No reply to my last email.
