New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Treat yourself to ocean and sound views with easy beach access, fishing, surfing, and kiteboarding just steps away! This 3,700-square-foot beach home was designed with comfort, family, and relaxation in mind. This home has a resort feel with high-quality furniture and finishes. The four suites and bunk room each have their own TV. And the tower has a sleeper sofa and views of the ocean and sound. The great room features dramatic 20-foot cathedral ceilings and the home's large rooms open out to 1,800-square-foot decks and porches, giving you a feeling of spaciousness throughout. The family room/game room is a great place to hang out with the kids, and you'll have a single-car garage, a large heated pool, a deluxe five-person hot tub, and a secluded tower room. The kitchen makes for a great place to start the day without feeling like you are missing out on all the fun while cooking! You'll have everything you need to make meals for the gang. The elevator makes this an ideal retreat for families with older members and small children.

2BNWaves is equipped with free WiFi and an incredible inside and outside sound system.

Great big house!

Perfect house for a large group! The pool table, pool, hot tub, & short walk to the beach were all perfect! Also we had an issue with our smoke detectors going off and the property manager had someone over in less than 20 minutes! We hope to stay here again one year!

House was Great! Had everything we wanted, the big open concept was great for everybody to hangout and eat together. The pool room was used extensively as was the pool itself. Even had the neighbor’s cat Bitty stop by regularly to say hi. Location was perfect, very short walk to the beach and was never crowded all week. Would definitely stay there again when going back to the area.

Overall we had a great family Thanksgiving in Waves, NC! Steps from the beach!

The property was the perfect size for the family. The staff was friendly and check in/check out was very easy. Had hoped the rental would have been cleaner upon arrival, as it appeared certain rooms were overlooked. Everything worked properly and we enjoyed our time in Waves.

We had a great time.

We had a really great time during our stay. The house slept 10 comfortably and the pool and hot tub were amazing. Unfortunately there were cockroaches in the garage, the upstairs refrigerator was not staying closed all the way, and the chairs by the pool were very brittle from being out in the heat. One of the chairs broke after one of the guests attempted to sit in it.

PERFECT!

Our vacation rental was PERFECT! It had all the amenaties that we needed for our whole family! The pool and hot tub were great!!! The house was spacious and we didn't feel like we were on top of eachother. The house was more beautiful than the pictures show! Unfortunately, we had to be evacuated due to Hurrican Maria only a day and a half after arriving! But, better safe than sorry!!! WE WILL BE BACK and hope to rent this property again!!!

What an awesome vacation! This home was perfect. Even though we were surrounded by smaller homes we were secluded by the natural vegetation giving us privacy. Kudos to the owners of this beautiful home . You could see they take great pride in their house. They have made it very welcoming, the decor is simple but beautiful. All the beds were very comfortable, the mattresses were high quality. Thank you for allowing us to share your home for a week.oh yes! Thanks for the elevator!!! Some of us are getting old LOL. Staying here was wonderful. Plenty of space for the family and the elevator was great to have for my elderly mother. Having the garage for her was also a large plus. Quiet nights were wonderful to sit around and enjoy movies together. Only issue was on the last day there was an issue with the internet, and we had no tv except in one room. Great kitchen, very clean. I do have to apologize to the young lady that tried to help us when we were at the wrong address. I am truly sorry for being hard to get along with. You were doing your very best. Great Stay.

Nice house

We came during a bad storm. So bad they closed the hwy 12 road off the island. So we spent a lot of time inside the house. we enjoyed the hot tub the big porches, the grill and the pool table. However the hot tub jets did not work. Only one side had jets that worked. The house was not thoroughly cleaned. And could use a deep cleaning before any new stays. The beds were comfy and the house was set up perfectly for our group. We enjoyed playing music in the pool room that would also play out on the porch as well. The beach is a short walk down the road. Very convenient and nice house to stay in.

Home is in a great location! Pool area, living/kitchen area, pool table areas were very good. Beds were comfortable! Elevator was very convenient for my elderly in-laws. Garage was a nice feature. The 4th floor was a peaceful getaway! Shelves in the main refrigerator were broken. Half the jets didn't work in the hot tub. Cookware could definitely be updated. Outdoor lights didn't work around the pool area, so we didn't use it much at night. The biggest disappointment was the description of "5 master bedrooms." 3 of the 5 bedrooms share bathrooms, which is NOT "master."

We encountered ants, clogged drains and sink, not enough towels and soiled linens left behind from the last patrons in the crows nest. Contacted Vacasa several times and they sent multiple text saying they we experiencing high demand and would get back to us. Never resolved.

Do better with house keeping!!

A week before our trip I had checked to see if any new reviews had been posted about the house. Well lo and behold a review was posted on 7/28. After reading all the problems the guest had, I immediately emailed Vacasa to make sure all issues were addressed. Vacasa emailed back pretty quick and assured me everything was taken care of. Upon arrival I must say everything looked as pictured. House was very big, pool area was private and nice, minus all the cockroaches running around the pool area. The grill needs a lot of help, that thing has not been cleaned once! I mean it was disgusting. Even the grill brush was disgusting, you couldn’t even use it. You think they could fork up $5 for a new brush. As we entered the house I could see the floors had not been vacuumed or mopped, ok no big deal I can live with that. The second floor was nice, it had a fridge,pool table, washer and dryer. Upon checking the rooms, I found that the comforters not only had orange paint stains on them, but one had at least 7 BLOOD stains. I immediately took pictures and send them to Vacasa, they apologize and said they would have a new blanket sent, well the new blanket didn’t come until the next day. There is a visible mold problem in some vents. The deck has a lot of nails sticking up. Vacasa needs to do better with cleaning there is NO excuse! I’m sure Vacasa will write under this review saying all issues addresses but that crap. I also requested a partial refund and yet to hear back from them.

Perfect Getaway

As small business owners this was our first chance to take a vacation in 20 years. We decided on this property as it offered an elevator and hot tub. Perfect for us as Jeff is scheduled for spine surgery and climbing stairs is difficult while the hot water jets soothed the pain. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a much needed and relaxing getaway. Highly recommended, and we hope to come again.

Fabulous Family Vacation

The house and location was great. Short walk to the beach and short drive to the sound. Several good restaurants close by with Avon just a 20 to 25 minute drive with more shopping and restaurants. Loved there were 4 king beds for the couples and separate bunk room for kids.
