Riverfront cabin with kayaks and canoes

Peaceful Shores Cabin is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom vacation home offering everything you need for a relaxing getaway directly on the river. The house has 4 bedrooms are furnished with 1 king bed, a crib, 2 queen beds, and 2 bunk beds (4 full beds). The cabin has 2 bathrooms, 1 walk-in shower and 1 shower/tub combo. We are located on the widest portion of the Apple River Flowage (600 yards wide) in Amery, Wisconsin a short drive from the Twin Cities.

Peaceful Shores Cabin has a private dock for your boat. Our family friendly rental property offers a canoe, paddle boat, 2 paddle boards, 5 adult kaysks and 2 youth kayaks to paddle around the river. You will enjoy fishing off of the dock in the peaceful water of the Apple River. Fish are plentiful year round, you will easily catch your limit of panfish summer fishing and ice fishing. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Crappie Muskie, and Northern Pike. The deck has an expanded patio which includes a fire pit and a screened in gazebo perfect for bird watching and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. A kid’s play area in the loft for gaming fun includes kid's toys, board games, puzzles, and a Foosball table.

Peaceful Shores is the dream vacation spot for the entire family, for kids and adults alike. Everyone will enjoy the wide variety of activities at our cabin escape, including kayaking, canoeing, playing yard games, watching wildlife, relaxing in the hammock, fishing, boating, making s'mores over the fire, and/or grilling out.

Our vacation property is located just outside of Amery, WI. Peaceful Shores Cabin gives you access to countless miles of ATV trails, hiking / biking trails, snowmobile trails on Cattail State Trail. We have adequate parking for your snowmobiles or ATVs. We are located near all of the essential amenities you would hope to find in a large city such as farm to table restaurant, grocery stores, ice cream shops, farmer's market, and small specialty shops. There is a swimming beach in the nearby area a short drive away.

Our property and linens are cleaned by professional cleaners following the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) recommendations prior to your arrival. We offer contact free check-in.

We enjoyed our stay at the riverfront cabin!! Everything was neat and clean…kids had fun swimming and kayaking. Cabin was very comfortable. Would come back again and stay there.

Once again this property shone brightly for our family vacation. The owners prepared everything perfectly, from the vast assortment of kid toys and play spaces in the loft, to the ample supplies, to the awesome open main floor area, to the patios, lawn and dock. The place was very clean. The kayaks were a big hit with grandsons. Fishing was okay but the river does have a lot of weeds. We had everything we needed to stay. Washer and dryer was a big plus. Overall very pleased and we had a good time.

9 friends spent the weekend - just catching up and enjoying the fall weekend. The house had plenty of room inside and out for us to be very comfortable. The house was equipped well and was in a beautiful location. It was great to have kindling and wood cut for the fire pit. The walking path just across the street was peaceful and easy to walk on. If we had any kids with, they would have had many activities to do. The choices of games and videos and other toys was great. I would totally recommend for your family or friend get togethers. Would rebook anytime!

My sister and I rented Peaceful Shores for my parents 60th bday present. We relaxed, kayaked, had bonfires and fished. This property was perfect for us and has everything there that we needed for a fun weekend!

Fabulous Property

We enjoyed a long weekend with family at Peaceful Shores. It was clean, comfortable, and very easy to feel at home. The toys were a special treat for the kids and the windows overlooking the Apple River were perfect for watching the sunsets.

Great fishing

Very clean and plenty of fish to catch. If you want a very quiet cabin and local area this is the one for you. river was a little too green with duckweed and plants to enjoy kayaking. Family enjoyed the camp fires at night.

A relaxing place

We enjoyed the peaceful feeling at the lake. The house was clean and set up just as it was said to be. The house is lovely for a bigger group. The river had many fish, the fire pit brought warmth and much laughter. A great place!

We used the canoe however the ability to get in and out was not smooth. Grill needs some attention. Overall good stay. The view is beautiful and very quiet.
