Nestled in the heart of lush, green woods, this serene hiking family retreat offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Whether you are looking to explore miles of scenic trails or simply unwind surrounded by nature this charming home has it all.
With room to comfortably sleep six, its the idea spot close to amenities for you and your one pup. Inside you will find a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for a relaxing stay. Step outside to breath in the fresh pine-scented air and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding woods from the screened in porch. You are a short drive from Acadia National Park, Ellsworth for shopping and restaurants, and Trenton for antiquing and lobster pounds.
This is a NEWLY renovated and listed property!
First floor:
You will find a spacious and well eqipped kitchen. If you love coffee, we have an espresso machine, drip coffee maker and more. There is a kitchenaide mixer, and many other supplies and appliances for your
meals at home. The spacious dining room is just off the kitchen with plenty of space for 6, and a desk for that private workspace to squeeze in a couple of emails.
You will find a large living room with a flat screen tv, lots of games, and some toys for the tots. Spread out for some family time together and relax.
The first floor bathroom has a walk in shower, full bathroom and a washer/dryer.
Second floor:
Bedroom 1: Large and bright master bedroom with a new king bed, a bureau and lots of closet space
Bedroom 2: Full sized bed with storage
Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds, lots of books for the kids, and storage
Bathroom: Full sized bathroom with a double vanity, walk in shower and lots of natural light
Your ONE small to medium sized dog is welcome with pre-approval, a pet fee of $150 and a signed pet agreement.
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 15 miles away. Schoodic Point, and downeast Maine are approximately 18 miles.
Ellsworth is just 3 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys and more.
There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.
