Truly, the most relaxing place I have ever been. I will be coming back every chance I get. Do nothing and lay on the beach. Or do it all! Ensenada, La Bufadora, and Mama Bears for the best pizza in the world. And don't forget the fish Tacos on the way in.
thank you for the glowing review. We agree that this is a magical place and a special house to spend it in. We welcome your return anytime!
A Little Piece of Heaven
Casa de Abuelos was a wonderful home to stay in Punta Banda. This was our second time visiting the area and we were very impressed with this rental.
We walked through the courtyard door to be greeted by lush plumeria, succulents and potted plants, colorful tiles and a beautiful masonry table, perfect for a peaceful breakfast al fresco. On the right, off the courtyard, is a tastefully decorated beachy room for 4 with a king-size bed and two twins. This room was generously-sized and included a half bath.
Once inside the main house, it became apparent that this was a very special home. Just a Wonderful feeling here. It is not posh, but is beautifully kept and very clean. Artistic touches were scattered tastefully throughout, from handcrafted Mexican art pieces to the colorful dishware offered in the glass front kitchen cabinets, to hand painted murals on the front door, off the kitchen and also on the Buffet cabinet doors.
The kitchen was well stocked and had everything from a few spices to a blender and most everything else you could wish for. The washer and dryer were a major plus too!
Lovely Saltillo tile throughout, the home had a gorgeous view, including the large master bedroom with hearth that had an ensuite bathroom with large vanity and shower. The second bedroom had a beautiful, exposed beam high ceiling as well and a parrot theme, with a closet full of games and wetsuits. There were plenty of towels and extra Linens included.
One of the most special parts of this home is the large covered back patio that leads directly onto the beach. When we got tired of the water, we could watch our tween-aged kids Frolic in the waves just 60 yards from us. It was peaceful to enjoy a drink out of there, and there was a hose shower on the rear patio, a clothesline, firewood for the fire ring and a small closet with some fun items for the beach, such as a couple boogie boards, horseshoes, badminton, kites, Etc.
The beach is very private, has powder soft sand and very family-friendly waves.
Thank you Casa de Abuelos for a wonderful family vacation. We had a little confusion about our check out time and delayed the cleaning staff just a bit, but other than that stressful moment, we really enjoyed our stay.
We hope to return soon for more wonderful family memories at Casa de Abuelos!
Thank you so much for the glowing review!
