Great place, great value

The rental was very large and clean with ample parking. There was a full kitchen and the place is a short drive from a good supermarket (ShopRite) so meals are easy. There is a huge yard which my dog loved running around on and though it wasn't warm enough there is a nice pool. I highly recommend and plan to come back with friends this summer.

Our stay was awesome....Laura the owner was such a wonderful person. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.....she even gave us a cup of coffee as a send off gift for our journey....we will be back....Thanks Laura and Enrique and Chris....;)

Quiet peaceful relaxing getaway

Stayed a week in July and a week in August. Nice cozy apartment fairly priced and good for our family of 2 adults 1 child and our dog. Laura is a good host. Accommodating and always there if you need something. Our first week in July was a little bumpy as there was a situation with the pool which was brown because of a pump mishap and wasnt available to use till our last day there. Due to the situation we booked some pool time over 3 days using the Swimply app where you can rent someone's pool at their house. Due to the house not being as advertised Laura reumbursed us for this. It was a pretty significant amount over 600$. Laura also offered us an extra free day's stay for the inconvenience which we used in our second stay in August. Highly recommend this property.

Easy getaway

Our family had a terrific time at Laura and Enrique’s house. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. And well-stocked! A full kitchen, and washer/dryer, lots of extra towels...every time we needed something, it was right there. The pool was clean with a nice deck, table, chairs, umbrella, and some pool toys. Laura checked on us daily via text, which was very nice, and otherwise gave us lots of space to roam and feel comfortable. Note that there is only one bed—our two kids slept on the pull out couch, which was easy to set up and worked out just fine. Also note that the lake nearby is only open for boating and fishing—swimming and pets are not allowed. Overall, a great experience, and so easy! Thanks!

Short Summer Fun

We are glad we stayed in Monroe, the house is clean, equipped with all the needed basics (central AC, washer dryer, kitchen tools and essential, Netflix...) we really enjoyed the space, pool, bbq, privacy, friendlyness and open attentive communication of the owner's. The kids were able to be themselves ride their scooters around the house, use the swing, watch movies. They made us feel comfortable and at home. We would totally go back, we truly enjoyed how convenient the location is to parks, lakes, bear mountain (hycking, boat rides...) lake Welch (beach, bbq grasses area...), Bellavale Farms Creamery (the best creamy ice cream on home made wafflecone), Planet Pizza (good NY pizza), shopping centers (Woodbury outlets, Walmart, BJs...) over all would recommend it.

Generous hosts, lovely property, full apartment

I stayed in both the apartment under the house, and a single bedroom in the main house, just for a day. Hosts Laura and Enrique are so welcoming and accommodating! The grounds were lovely, even in snow, for walking myself or with my support dog. Great location to access nearby towns! Some great restaurants nearby. Bring your tourist info! The rooms were neat and clean and furnished nicely. The sofa bed is soft so keep it in mind if you need a firm bed. Other beds were just fine. The apt. is heated by propane and gets toasty., or as you like it. A new laundry unit was added to the apartment which was so convenient. A wonderful stay overall!

This was a very nice place to stay in Monroe, NY. It was on a quiet street and is the downstairs of a house. Nice and clean. Very nice owner and super helpful. The wifi worked beautifully as did everything else.

Great family! Space was clean an cozy.

This is a villa underneath the living quarters of the hosts. Always available to come down to assit. I am from Florida and was a little cold but they springed into action to obtain space heaters. They went above an beyond to make sure our stay was great. My friend missed her flight and they were able to recommend a car service to bring her in for an affordable fee. They are located about 30 mins from Westpoint. It is important for the location to be close as our DD needs to be back on post every night. Thank you for opening your home to us, if ever in the area we would for sure stay again.
