The magic starts in the driveway of this charming three-bedroom home just north of downtown McCall! The antique-style lamp in the yard, the shingled wood facade, and the stone foundation are a hint of the craftsmanship you'll discover inside, like the hand-carved tableau etched into the lighting bay above the island in the kitchen. Cable TV, DVD/CD players, and jetted soaking tub make this home both entertaining and comfortable!
Some impressive features compete for your attention in this elegant home. There's the grand, river rock gas fireplace - a perfect spot to gather and discuss the day's adventures in the glow of the fire. Or, the hand-carved tableau etched into the lighting bay above the island in the kitchen. And the kitchen - with its top-notch gas range nestled in the wooden island, gorgeous granite counters, double sink, and dishwasher for hassle-free cleanups - is as functional as it is beautiful. In summer, central air conditioning and a cool day will make those hot days more bearable!
The master bedroom is an echo of the lodge-style luxury and comfort you'll find throughout the home. Attached to this spacious bedroom is a beautifully tiled bathroom complete with double sinks, jetted tub, walk-in shower, and plenty of space on the counter for your toiletries and personal items. There are two other bedrooms, one with one twin bed, one full bed, and access to the patio, the other with a fun twin-over-full bunk bed and a writing desk. Another full bathroom has an elegant walk-in shower with a detachable massage head to soothe those tired muscles.
No matter what time of year, McCall's sites and activities have made it a preferred getaway destination for decades. You'll be right on the cusp of McCall Municipal Golf Course, so you can tee up in no time! Bring the bike and the hiking boots. Ponderosa State Park - a 1,515 acre site - is just a short drive north. In winter, bring the skis and boards to Brundage, just 30 minutes away. Or, head over to Jug Mountain and Tamarack, both less than 40 minutes away. Shops, galleries, and a great meal at one of McCall's 36 eateries, less than 10 minutes to the south.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!
Great location as a base camp for skiing Brundage and Tamarack. The cabin is great and very homey. The furniture was a little run down, but overall the price was reasonable and I would definitely stay there again.
I would rent here again as it was very accommodating for our family reunion. Loved the kitchen and the bedrooms and being close to town yet in a rural setting off the golf course.
This is a livable home nestled into a perfect location.
Overall, the place was nice and accommodating. For a comparable vacation home in McCall it lacked a few key features. The internet did not work. The DVR did not work either. Also, the patio had no furniture or bbq. The kitchen and living area was fine. But the house definitely lacked a few of the items required by most vacationers.
I rented this house for a hockey tournament weekend with two friends and our kids. The house is in a suburban feeling neighborhood with small houses close by- but the backyard views are lovely of the golf course and the house was totally comfortable, the three bedrooms fit us all easily, the kitchen was great and we enjoyed our stay.
