We had the most wonderful time here, not only is it extremely comfortable, the views are gorgeous.The hosts Lona and Kay were simply incredible. They could not do enough for us and upon a late arrival we found a wonderful hamper of food and beverages (with beer and wine) in our kitchen, which we soon tucked in to. Their local knowledge was superb, which we relied on entirely, eating and visiting the most fabulous places including a Michelin starred restaurant in a local village.The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the pool gorgeous, with sunbeds and parasols. We had a great little kitchen with everything you would need catered for.They recommended a local vineyard for wine tasting and both took us and collected us, naturally, a little the worse for wear on the return!!Just genuinely lovely people with a beautiful property that is most definitely worth a visit.Marche is worth a visit, as is this little gem of a place.Well done ladies ..... we all loved our time with you.

The location of the property is ideal for those like us who want peace and quiet and love the feeling of being close to nature. The house is lovely and spacious and beautifully decorated, very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. We spent all our time there outside and made the most of the lovely pool and pretty terrace and garden. The owners have made the property very welcoming, with excellent details about nearby shops, restaurants and places to visit. The location means you can easily access the stunning beaches by the Adriatic, as well as the awe-inspiring mountainous landscape surrounding the property. There is one thing that potential guests might want to bear in mind, as the online details do not describe the bedroom situation clearly. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, but they are not accessed discretely. Access to the two doubles and the bathroom is off the twin bedded room, which is the room you enter directly from the front door at the top of the outside staircase. Fortunately this was not an issue for us but it may be for others depending on the composition of your group and their wish for privacy. Also, when we arrived only the two doubles had bedding on. Our group was made up of a couple and 2 single adults, so we needed all 3 rooms. The very helpful agent-manager had only been asked to make up the two doubles. There was plenty of bedding available for us to make the single bed up, however.

Lovely spacious apartment in beautifully maintained plot with wonderful views over the lush local countryside. Well situated for trips to interesting old towns and villages (as long as you can cope with lots of bends and hills!) as well as easy access to the beaches and longer trips via the north/south coastal motorway to Ancona, Macerata and Loreto. The pool is beautiful (purified by salt water, not chlorine) though a couple of sun umbrellas would be nice. The apartment, being in an older building, was reasonably cool, even in 30C+ temperatures, but the aircon in the lounge/diner and bedrooms was quiet and efficient. Jessica was a lovely, helpful host. The apartment is well-equipped, spacious and very clean and comfortable. We had a really great two weeks there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday in a lovely area with plenty of beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit. Casa Capella is such a beautifully thought out, well looked after property that we had a great week here. It looks just like it does in the photos. It’s comfortable and well equipped which meant with a most generous welcome hamper including cheese, butter, eggs, prosciutto, milk, bread, home made jam, lots of wine. In fact everything we needed to set us up for the week when we arrived. We enjoyed swimming in the 15m pool and then just looking at the view across open countryside to the hills. We could eat at the shaded table by our little house and also sit and chat and have a drink in the portico outside the main house where Lona, our welcoming but unobtrusive host, lives. She was on hand to give us advice on places to go, restaurants and shops. It was our first visit to Le Marche, although we have been to Italy many times and we appreciated its unspoilt beauty and lack of pretension. The roads were quiet, the hilltop villages beautiful, and the fields were full of sunflowers. We will be back.
