I spent Christmas with my son at this 2bd condo. It was just as advertised. The living room was very comfortable. We liked that each bedroom Im had its own heat control as the like it warmer and my son enjoys it cooler.
The only issue we had was the garbage disposal was broken when we arrived (did not know this until we cleaned dinner dishes and water started to come out onto the floor from under the sink - the disposal was literally detached friend m the sink)...I called about it and it was repaired the next morning. However, they did not take the rug by the sink to wash it and there was good particles on it 😞 Aside from that, we loved it.
It's a 3 mi utewalk to the Lionshead gondola and 2 minutes to the shuttle to Vail Village.
We would stay here again.
We took our family of six here during August to beat the Texas heat. Having stayed here in previous years, we booked again. It's in a great location, has covered parking, pool and two hot tubs.
Bring your rolls of quarters as the community laundry room is $1.75 per wash and dry.
Also, bring your pool towels as those aren't provided.
Pool is heated and hot tub regularly dumped.
The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the noisy highway that runs parallel. It makes for bad pool ambiance and you can also hear it at night.
Overall, I say it's a go!
We were really happy with this condo and would definitely stay again. My family of seven stayed here very comfortably for a week. It is nicely decorated and a great location within Lionshead Village and a wonderful view of the gondola and mountain. The parking is very convenient. We used the on-premise laundry facilities and they are convenient as well. Loved that the pool and hot tubs are right across the open area from the condo - very close but never heard any noise . I highly recommend this condo.
This condo was walking distance to the gondola. It was clean and modern. It had a great view of the mountain.
The price was great and I think less than other options because it was close to the highway and overlooked the parking lot. This did not bother us and we heard no traffic noise. For the the value it was wonderful.
We stayed with our two children and will hopefully be back again.
We loved Vail! Condo was in good location-short walk to the gondola and close to dining and shopping. However, we had issues with the heaters, fireplace, and kitchen plumbing/garbage disposal. We had to call maintenance multiple times throughout the stay, but they were always responsive. For the price we paid, this was an annoyance. Also the condo was crowded with furniture and didn't have a lot of storage space in the closets so it made it difficult to put clothing away. Finally we didn't have the mid-week cleaning service as advertised. Overall we had a great vacation and we will definitely return to Vail, but will choose a different property next time.
I think that this unit was a very good bargain for our family of 5. While the bedrooms and bathrooms were a little small, they worked just fine and the kitchen, dining room and family room were all spacious and nice. The location can't be beat - you are right next to the bus stop and just a few minute walk from food, drinks and the gondola. This was great during the summer, and would be even better during ski season due to its proximity to the lifts.
