Experience the picturesque allure of this true Northwoods log home. If you are in search of a property that is unique and full of character, this is your spot. Perfect for families looking to create memories together or couples excited to enjoy a quiet and relaxing getaway. After a long day at Granite Peak or exploring Central Wi, kick your feet up next to the crackling fireplace. On summer mornings, the new deck expansion is the perfect place to sip coffee and watch wildlife as the sun rises. Or play lawn games in the expansive yard followed by making s'mores around the outdoor bonfire. Set on two and a half acres, Hidden Pines Lodge is your gateway to exploring the many things the area has to offer.

The approximately 1900 finished sq. ft. home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully finished lower level. Central to the living room is a field stone fireplace to enjoy a warm fire on snowy Wisconsin nights. Other features include: second fireplace (gas) in lower level, three car detached garage, brick walkway, landscaping, HDTV on each floor, central air conditioning, and privacy in all directions. Incredibly, this stunning, secluded haven is less than 2 miles from the Wausau city limits and only 10 miles from Granite Peak!

If you wish to stay connected, need to work remotely, or want to stream your favorite show, the home is equipped with high-speed fiber optic internet access with guest WiFi. Why stay in a cramped hotel room or an ordinary house? The combination of this home's features, setting, and location is a very rare find. Have stayed here multiple times. So cozy and clean. Quiet peaceful and true cabin experience. Property managers go out of there way to make our stay even more enjoyable with great customer service

This is an absolute gem! Homey & comfy. They have everything there that you need. Feels like you are innthe middle of nowhere, yet nice and close to Wausau. Our hosts were excellent as well. Going to Wausau in winter to ski? STAY HERE! Or, any other time for that matter. Many thanks to our hosts for an enjoyable Labor Day weekend stay!

What a wonderful place to stay. Check in was easy. All our questions were answered prior to our stay so we felt ready to relax when we arrived. Steve was available if there were further questions. Kitchen set up was well planned which made meal preparation easy. Spacious living room with fireplace. Bedrooms were comfortable and enjoyed the pictures that decorated the rooms.The finished downstairs made for a great area for the family to watch the Packer game. Deck was a good size as we spent time playing games on the table and then we all were able to grill out and prepare for evening meals together. Cabin set in far enough from road and secluded by trees which allowed for privacy. A great property!

While the cabin was as advertised, in the woods, my impression was it was in a larger woodsy area instead of a patch of woods along the roadside. Cabin was comfortable yet dated with minimal furnishing updates for the rental price charged. Overall, the general location met our expectations and cabin provided us with what we needed. Was a bit disappointed with the Wausau area that had many places closed on the 4th of July and some for the entire Holiday weekend. In addition, many close on Monday & Tuesday just in general so it made finding places to eat clallenging.

We enjoyed this cabin very much! Wonderful place for a nice family visit. Everything we needed was provided which really adds to a lower stress vacation experience! Favorite rental in Granite Peak

Came to Wausau with kids and close friends to enjoy some skiing. Had a lovely time at the property. The kids actually played card games together and hung out around in the living room around the Christmas tree instead on their tablets. I truly believe that it was because of the layout of the house which we all came to appreciate. Thank you for the amazing experience.

GREAT GREAT GREAT

We have stayed several times at this cabin and will continue to do so! It has become part of a tradition with our grandson. Couldn’t ask for a cozier place to spend with him celebrating the holidays. The cabin, property and owners are fantastic!

Perfect Getaway

Stayed for a long golf weekend mid-October. Great location and well maintained property. All the amenities were there to make meals and enjoy the outdoors. Clean and comfortable and close to any thing you need but secluded and quiet. Enjoyed all the fall colors and hiking Rib Mountain State Park and Dells of the Eau Claire park.

3 C's: Cozy, Comfortable and Charming

This place worked great for all of our needs. It had a cozy lodge and rustic feel equipped with everything that we needed. It was very comfortable and we liked that if we could stay all socialize easily in one room. The place was charming and located in a picturesque setting yet not far from town. Hosts were responsive, flexible and easy to work with.

Granite Peak Ski Trip

we had a wonderful trip!! The cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed!! We loved everything about the place!! I felt like we were tucked away in the forest, and yet everything we needed was within miles. We had an amazing trip and will definitely be back. Steve and Alison were great hosts!!! Deer Camp 2023

Second year we have rented this place for deer season opener. The cabin/house has all the needed ammenities and more and is charming and very clean. We love the feel of being up north but not needing to make that drive. The hosts are very accomodating.

Thanksgiving Retreat
