#315 is a beautiful, light, bright, spacious 2 Bedroom 2 Bath 3rd Floor Condominium with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. One of the closer units to the water, it's quiet location offers privacy and very close access to stairs, elevator and most importantly, the beach ! For an added degree of comfort and safety, after Covid, a new induct Mercury free home air purification system was installed to provide the cleanest indoor air possible.

Our Resort is a quaint, quiet boutique resort ideally located mid-Key, close to a myriad of shops, restaurants, activities and museums. It's just a few miles from Mote Marine, St. Armand's Circle and the popular historic Bridge Street area on Anna Maria Island. Boat and bike rentals, kayak tours. parasailing, golf, fishing and so much more are all nearby. For meals, Publix Market is just down the street or choose to dine at a wide array of restaurants right here on the Key including a beach bar and fine dining right next door at the Zota Beach Resort.

Perfect family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed an incredible vacation at Sand Cay (unit 315) and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation. The unit was perfectly clean and spacious, and it's great that they supplied beach towels and beach toys. The beach is stunning (we saw dolphins right in front of us!), clean and not crowded at all. We almost never used the pool (which is nice) because we're beach-goers, but it's available. There's also a tennis court (can also play basketball and pickle ball).If you are looking to spend time in the area for a relaxing family vacation, you need not look any further. For us, the convenience of having our own place rather than a hotel room was much better. Just know that Longboat Key compared to Siesta Key (a little south) and Anna Maria Island (closer, but just north) are busier with more shops, restaurants etc. But, you're a 5 minute drive to Publix and about 10-minutes to Saint Armand Circle that has lots of restaurants and shops. We'd return for sure! Thanks to the office staff as well who were both friendly and helpful!

Home Sweet Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed in this rental the first week of August and from the minute we opened the door we fell in love with it. This unit is close to the water and it is very spacious and bright. The owner takes a lot of pride in his he probably because everything looks new with no ware and tear. The bed is so comfortable and i actually ordered the pillows that were on the bed.Owner provided tents for the beach and a beach cart that you can pull your beach stuff inI have rented other units at this property and this by far has been my favorite . I will book this property again.

The office manager was kind enough to get pillow top, but even then one of the guests was better off sleeping on the sofa. Workmanship on laminate floors was sloppy. Have been staying at this resort for over 25 years.

We felt right at home from the Keurig to the cooking utensils, the quick wifi and plentiful towels, even the cute starfish Tic Tac Toe and the beach themed decor. The on site laundry mat, shuffle board courts, and pool added to the fun and comfort of this vacation. Honestly felt more like the Caribbean than Florida! Check out Columbia, Mar Vista and the Chart house for good food and beautiful views. My kids are already begging to go back to Sand Cay unit 315!

Great location. Well equipped condo as advertised.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this condo In January, for 2 weeks. The condo was as advertised. Well designed, we'll equipped and the location was terrific. We had a partial view of the gulf, and we were steps away from a beautiful beach. We hope to return next year.

Wonderful Beach Sad Unit

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Communication was excellent. We truly loved the beach and the staff at Sand Cay are wonderful. The unit is another story. When we first entered the door we were hit with a horrific smell. We thought airing the place out would help. It didn't. While the place appeared to be clean, opening the blinds and letting the light in told a different story. One of the kitchen cabinets was broken, a blind in the bedroom literally fell off when we opened them, the toilet paper holders in both bathrooms fell out of the wall, some of the outlets didn't hold plugs, the mattresses - toppers helped a little, but they need to be replaced. The sofas had little to no cushioning. There's so much renovation required the list is lengthy. If you're looking to simply have a roof over your head, this place will work. If you have health issues (such as asthma) we would not recommend staying here. It's unfortunate since the location and staff are wonderful.
