Our unit is located RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE SOUTH END OF KAMAOLE BEACH PARK 1 (a.k.a. "Charlie Young" beach), regarded as one of the nicest golden sand beaches on all of Maui, and in fact voted its best beach for swimming. From the condo it is also a VERY SHORT WALK TO EVERYTHING else you could need---multiple restaurants, food stores, shops, and many activities (from snorkeling to surfing) and beach sports rental options are all very close by. THIS LOCATION IN SOUTH KIHEI CAN'T BE BEAT---YOU WOULD BE STAYING IN A QUIET CONCRETE BUILDING JUST STEPS FROM THE BEST BEACH IN THE AREA, AND CENTRAL TO EVERYTHING ELSE that Maui has to offer. Our immaculate condo very comfortably SLEEPS 2 in the beautiful KING BEDROOM, and is likewise fully appointed with all that you need for an enjoyable stay while in Maui (ALL the pictures and details shown here are CURRENT and show EXACTLY what you will find when you stay in our unit). There is a MAPLE KITCHEN with granite counters and STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES (including a brand new "Keurig" coffee machine), and a front loading WASHER AND DRYER as well. The bathroom has a custom built full size tiled walk in shower with seat and colored river stones on the floor to massage your feet as you shower, and an 8 inch "rainshower" type showerhead. In the living room there is a SAMSUNG 50" "SMART" TV hooked up to a YAMAHA SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM (powering 5 "in-ceiling" surround speakers), additional "ALEXA" Echo "smart" speakers for Amazons "Music Unlimited" MUSIC STREAMING SERVICE (included), and full Cable TV with "On-Demand" MOVIE STREAMING CHANNELS to enjoy ("Netflix" and "Amazon Prime Video" are both set up and included). There is also a 40" Samsung "SMART" TV in the bedroom as well, with "Google Chromecast" hooked up to both TV's for your "casting" pleasure. About Silvana Kos

We are a family of 4 with 2 young boys who love to travel, and have chosen Maui as our "home away from home". We fell in love with it the first time we vacationed there in 2011, and when we returned in 2012 we decided to purchase our own "little piece of paradise". We did just that in 2013, and still visit often (at least twice a year), and use these opportunities to keep our place in tip-top shape, and replace and refresh whatever is needed , so our condo continues to feel brand new for our guests. We are proud to share our unit with the new friends we meet through renting it out, and hope that our pride of ownership is evident to our guests when they visit.

Why Silvana Kos chose Kihei

Location! Our family had been to Maui several times before we decided on where we wanted to buy our vacation home. While there are many beautiful spots on the island, we still had several criteria in regards to where we wanted to be in the long term. Firstly, to be as close to a nice beach as we could (and could afford to be!)---to be able to dip our toes in the sand and water only minutes walking from the condo. Secondly, to be able to get to everything that we needed while on vacation, without needing a car to do it---about a 5 minute walk at the most was what we had in mind, as to not make it feel like a chore if you had to do it several times a day. And third, to be in a building, that while being centrally located, was also quiet enough to kick back and relax in when we were not out and about. We were fortunate to find EXACTLY what we were looking for when we found our condo at the Kamaole Beach Royale. It was located right across the street from the park area of the best rated and nicest beach in the area, Kamaole 1 (Charlie Young)---only 90 seconds from our door---closer than we could have ever hoped for! We also found that our complex was ideally situated in South Kihei, in more practical terms as well, for being both quiet (our building sits about 50 yards back from the road), but within EASY WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING that we could want or need while on holiday. Many restaurants, food stores, shopping, and multiple activity options (everything from snorkeling to surfing) are no more than a couple of minutes away on foot! Exactly what we wanted in a vacation home, in an ideal location on Maui.

What makes this condo unique

There are several unique benefits with staying in our unit.

The first is LOCATION. We are a 90 second stroll to a beautiful golden sand beach and park area, with many fine restaurants, shops and services also close by and convenient to our building.

The second is that our building has a wonderful 7th floor ROOFTOP BBQ and dining/view deck, where our guests can BBQ their meals, take in the breathtaking ocean views, watch the sunset, and dine under the stars at one of the several provided dining tables. Simply wonderful, and a sure "memory maker".

And finally the third main benefit of staying in our unit is THE UNIT ITSELF. We try to keep it in brand new condition by regularly refreshing everything from the towels and sheets, to the pots and pans, to the paint on the walls. We have also equipped it with everything that you could need for your holiday, from a full kitchen and laundry, to all your beach supplies and beach "toys", to a fully featured and modern TV and Music entertainment system. To put it simply---just bring your toothbrush and swimwear---we've got everything else covered!

One of the most enjoyable bonus features of our condo and building is the 7TH FLOOR ROOFTOP BBQ/dining and view deck. Full size Weber barbecues are available for your use, and we highly recommend that you take advantage of this bonus amenity. There is nothing nicer than going up to BBQ a good steak or Ahi Tuna dinner before sunset, after a glorious day on the beach. Eating your meal while enjoying a bottle of fine wine, seated at one of the provided tables and watching the sun set over the blue Pacific Ocean, 7 floors up overlooking it all, is one of the memories that you will likely cherish from your stay here. There is not a better seat or view at any restaurant around than this! Watch the sky go a million shades of red and gold as the sun sets, and see if you can catch the flash of green as it disappears into the ocean horizon.....Make new friends, socialize, and begin to understand why people keep coming back year after year to Maui, and to our building.

We stayed in this unit 6 weeks, from mid January thru the end of February. When we arrived the property had been completely cleaned and ready to be occupied.The condo was equipped with all the amenities needed for beach activities and as well as extended stays. The ceiling fans in both the front room and bedroom were all that we needed for ventilation so I never turned on the AC, as the island breeze kept us cool even during the 80+ degree days. The size of the unit allowed the two of to not feel cramped. The building was for the most part quiet and and relaxing with the 7th floor deck providing amazing views. Overall if I found this condo to be vacant in future years I would not hesitate to book again,

The most gracious owners I have encountered in many experiences. The unit is very comfortable with all the amenities you need. The rooftop at sunset is gorgeous and the other visitors and residents are all very friendly. I can only echo what other renters have said - it's a great location. Walk to restaurants, the ABC, the beach, etc. Will return when ever it is possible!

Felt like we were in a brand new condo. Comfortable bed, great amenities including beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend and would love to come back in the future.

The suite is very nice, with great new amenities including a lovely kitchen, bathroom, big bedroom, and patio.

The location is great and the rooftop deck with the BBQs is great. Right across from Kamaole 1 Beach. Lots of parking and the quality of the other tenants/ renters is good. Place is very quiet. The landlords of this property are very good.

What a perfect vacation rental! We loved it! Fully stocked with everything that you need. The grill and view on the rooftop was amazing. Great location when it comes to beaches and restaurants. We tried a few different beaches but the one right across the road was our favorite. Seems that the little bugs in Hawaii find any food that you leave out but there weren't any bugs in this condo. I highly recommend this condo. The owners are amazing, very quick responses and made you feel very comfortable. The next time I am in Maui I will schedule my trip around the availability of this condo.

Great Location & Well Equipped

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic trip. We loved the location and appreciated the well equipped condominium. The beach was so close we never even made it to the pool. We also utilized and enjoyed the roof top BBQ area. When we did not eat in, there were plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from within walking distance.

The condo itself has been updated very nicely. The only area of struggle for myself was the temperature in the bedroom. My body runs warm and the air conditioning unit could not quite reach the bedroom. With that said, I would not hesitate to stay again.

Kamaole Beach Park 1 (Charlie Young)

There are many activities and things to do and see within just steps or minutes of our condo. Right across the street is Kamaole Beach Park 1 (aka "Charlie Young" beach), where you will find what was voted by locals as the best swimming beach on Maui. This half mile long stretch of soft golden sand is also a favourite for taking walks, jogging, and for watching Maui's world famous sunsets. In addition to all that, you will also find good snorkeling here on both the north and south ends, around the rocks and coral. It is not uncommon to see---and snorkel with---not just fish, but the local population of Hawaiian green sea turtles---here, right across the street from our condo! This is also a great beach to set your SUP (paddle-board) in the water and just put around and take in the view. The 'Boogie' boarding here can also be quite good in the afternoons if the "trade winds" come up.......

Less than a 5 minute walk down the road heading south from Kam 1 is Kamaole Beach 2, where you will find another golden sand beach, also great for grabbing some sun or taking a dip. Another less than 5 minutes stroll further south from there will get you to Kamaole Beach 3---a little smaller, but with a larger green park area, great for when you might want to kick or throw a ball or frisbee around.......

Past Kamaole 3 are many more different and beautiful beaches, only minutes by car or about a half hour walk from the condo. 'Keawakapu' is one of our favorites, at the end of S. Kihei Road. Soft golden sand, palm trees, and 10 million dollar plus mansions lined up down the beach for everyone to envy, but set back from the water enough as to not spoil the natural beauty. One can only dream.......

Even further south takes you into and through "Wailea", which could rightly be called the 'Beverly Hills' of South Kihei. Meticulously manicured Banyon tress line the sidewalks and tower over the roads, like something from a giant movie set depicting some faraway magical kingdom! If you are an avid walker, jogger or cyclist, this is a must see place to do your thing. Or just drive there in minutes, valet park your car at the Grand Wailea Hotel or Four Seasons Hotel, and walk down to their public beach (Wailea Beach) that has Cabanas for rent, and bar service right to your beach chair. Why not live it up a little?.......

Further south from Wailea, around and past "Makena", are numerous pristine coves and natural rock and black sand beaches that have some of the best swimming and snorkeling in all of Hawaii. Pack a cooler with some food and drinks and enjoy a day on any one of a number of often deserted beaches that could be the cover shot of a Maui scenic calendar! And since you are so close to it now, make sure you visit Makena State Park Beach, or 'Big Beach' as the locals call it, for what is to us our favorite beach away from the condo. A scenic and easy 15 minute drive from the condo gets you here, and plan on staying a whole day if you can. The best time is in the mornings when the waves are small, the water calm and 50 shades of blue and green. In the afternoon the waves get bigger, and are perfect for the adventurous 'Boogie' boarder. Spectacular scenery, crystal clear blue waters, and a huge beach with very few people---this is what you would picture a true Hawaiian beach to look like. Pack the cooler and beach chairs, and don't forget to bring a good camera. And if you happen to have forgotten your swimwear, that wont be a problem at 'Little Beach' next door (HINT: assuming you are not shy), 100 yards up and over a small hill at the west end of Big Beach.......

We could go on and on about all the things for one to see and do not far from our condo, but that could easily fill a whole book! Snorkeling, Surfing, Stand-up Paddleboarding, Ocean Kayaking, deep sea fishing, whale watching and golfing are all within minutes in either direction of our condo, with rentals for most of the above right next door to our building, and down the street. Our condo provides the perfect luxury 'home base' location from which to see and do it all, OR do nothing at all but relax on the beach. The choice is yours! Enjoy!

A $10--$15 per night discount (depending on season) may be applied for stays of 28 days or longer, or may be offered to guests who COMPLETELY "fill in" blocks of time between other bookings. Rates are based on up to Double Occupancy, and are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed. A Reservation Deposit of $500 is due when an agreement for rental is reached, to confirm and hold the reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to guest arrival.
