Essential Amenities

-Connectivity: Free Wi-Fi (Satellite Internet, sufficient for basic streaming/browsing), Cell service (spotty depending on carrier).

The Neighborhood: Deep in the Ozarks
Our cabin is nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks, surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest. While secluded, you are perfectly situated for both necessity and adventure.

Private Access to Shoal Creek

A Hidden Gem: One of the best features of this property is our private access to Shoal Creek. Offering our guests a serene and private connection to the water right on the 42-acre estate they can enjoy.

Nature at Your Doorstep: Whether you want to wade in the cool waters, explore the banks for local wildlife, or simply relax by the sound of the creek, it offers a peaceful Ozark experience.

RV, UTV & Camper Friendly – Private Basecamp

Easy Maneuvering: Our property features a massive gravel roundabout and a wide driveway, making towing and turning a breeze. Whether you are hauling a large RV or a trailer full of UTVs/Side-by-Sides, there is no tight backing required.

Off-Road Ready: We have plenty of secure, level ground to park your trailers and off-road toys. Being right against the Mark Twain National Forest, we are the perfect home base for your "river business" and trail adventures.

Covered Parking: A large, oversized eave at the back of the building provides extra shelter for your gear, side-by-sides, or vehicles.

Utility & Convenience: Our private gazebo area features a dedicated electrical panel and well-water access. It’s the perfect spot for 'dry camping' setups or keeping your UTV batteries charged and gear powered up while you enjoy the outdoors.

Note: While we provide water and electricity at the gazebo, we do not have on-site sewage or dump stations. We are located just 20- 30 minutes from the major river resorts for easy access to floating and local amenities.

About the host

Hosted by Sol

Host profile image
For years, our family lived the fast-paced life of Chicago, but the constant hustle left us searching for something more: a better work-life balance and a deeper connection to nature. Five years ago, we made a major change, moving to Missouri and instantly falling in love with the abundant greenery and dramatic landscapes of the Ozarks.

Our roots run deep in the Dominican Republic, an island paradise where the culture is built around community and the land is rich with diverse climates—from vibrant beaches to misty mountains and lush forests.

Why they chose this property

In Missouri, we were on a mission to find a piece of land that felt as rich in nature as our home country. We wanted a place where we could genuinely slow down and breathe. That search led us to this beautiful, 42-acre parcel nestled in the Mark Twain National Forest, and to our first Bohío (boh-ee-oh).

What makes this property unique

This cabin is not just a rental; it's the beginning of a family business dedicated to sharing the peace and natural beauty we've found here.
