The house was well appointed, comfortable, clean, warm, and many thoughtful touches! It made our ski trip so easy with boot warmers, drying rack, and ski storage. Everything just worked! Nele and Brad were communicative and generous with our group. Overall a fantastic experience and we hope to come back again!

We are the Taylor-Breitbart family and live in Orange County with our two children. As much as we love the beaches and Mediterranean climate of Southern California, we also miss the changing seasons and the peace and quiet of the mountains and wilderness.

After visiting Lake Tahoe, we instantly fell in love with the area’s immense natural beauty and wealth of outdoor activities—from hiking and relaxing by the lake to skiing and exploring the surrounding mountains.

As hosts, we want our guests to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home. We’re happy to share our Tahoe retreat and hope it provides a welcoming place for families and friends to relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories, just as it has for our family.

We chose Christmas Valley for its peaceful mountain setting, beautiful scenery, and easy access to outdoor recreation. The neighborhood feels removed from the busier parts of town while still providing convenient access to Lake Tahoe, Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Kirkwood, and Echo Lake. We especially enjoy being able to walk to the Upper Truckee River and nearby hiking trails directly from the neighborhood.
