A wonderful, quiet, well appointed apartment

The security of the property was terrific. The apartment was spacious, well appointment with high quality appliances, bedding, etc. A couple of minor things: it is a 3 flight walk up, which was not a problem for us but those who have challenges should be aware ii) we didn’t realize we didn’t control the heat until we contacted the manager. It was early spring and one night was chilly. Once we contacted the manager about the heat, it was immediately turned up- so very responsive.

Family friendly stay in Berlin

Perfectly situated in Berlin near checkpoint Charlie, plenty of space for our family of 4. Modern kitchen appliances, plenty of hot water in the shower. Clean and safe. Recommend!

Spacious and comfortable Apartment

Landlord is vey responsive and helpful. Apt is close to Checkpoint Charlie subway stop and a few blocks from the Jewish Museum.

Great stay in a beautiful flat

This properties fantastic and the owners are super-responsive. All of the appliances are new and clean, and the location is great. Plenty of room for 4+ people. A few notes: 1-it is 2.5 floors up and there is no elevator. Keep that in mind. 2-the layout is awkward. There’s one BR separated by the living are, then another BR then 2 adjacent bathrooms. Not terrible, just unusual. 3-check-in seems more complicated that I have experienced before. This may be Germany or Berlin. Not tragic, just klunky. Despite these small things, it’s a 4.5-5 stars. 9.4 stars makes sense to me…great job and kudos to owners.

Great place for a family

My family of four very much enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was impeccably clean and very spacious. The location is great, very close to a grocery store, parks (my kids enjoyed the playground with a zipline a couple blocks away), two U Bahn stops, and many other amenities. I highly reccommend!

Beautiful apartment in a quiet and connected neighborhood

Beautiful historic apartment with comfortable beds and furniture, modern appliances, heated floors - everything you could ask for! Lots of places to walk to, and well connected to Berlin by metro and bus.

Great Location & Great Property

Highly recommend this spot. Super clean, bright, well-maintained spot close to basically everything. Very spacious; communication w/ host also first rate. (One note for those who plan on using the washing machine and dryer: be sure to obtain plenty of 2 Euro coins, as these will be necessary to operate them!)

Beautiful Flat

This is a gorgeous flat that is in an excellent location. It was a tad tough to understand check-in procedures due to the COVID restrictions and regulations in Germany, but otherwise, it was a great experience. The apartment, itself, was clean and large! We had a nice stay in Germany.

Very cool apartment in a very cool area

Loved our stay in this very spacious and comfortable apartment in the heart of the Kreuzberg area of Berlin. Everything was clean and modern, beautiful bathrooms with plenty of hot water, lovely kitchen area with modern appliances, very nice television with Netflix and Prime available. Lidl store was around the corner for groceries. There were some stairs to climb so be prepared but we did not find this to be a problem. The many directions to be followed look daunting but not so bad as you are executing them. Property is close to public transportation with underground train and bus lines up the street which we used extensively. We were very happy with the property and would consider booking again should we return to Berlin.

Stylish flat in a gem neighborhood

I stayed here with my 4 teenagers and thoroughly enjoyed the flat and neighborhood. The neighborhood is not touristy but very easy to get to all the tourist spots walking or easy public transportation; has several parks; locals are lovely; great coffee and restaurants; don’t miss the Jewish museum with the Berlinische Gallery nearby (use the same ticket). Marian and Nico were wonderful, and we enjoyed their spacious and unique flat. Until next time!

Great location

We just returned from a short trip to Berlin. This apartment was one of the highlights of our stay. Great location in the heart of Berlin and easy accessibility to everything that we wanted to see and do. We had our quiet time in the evenings after a long sightseeing day and that was very comforting to us just like we wanted it to be. It is a perfect location and property for people who like to do spend their vacation at their own pace. Nino and Mariam were very prompt with communications and made our stay very comfortable. I would recommend people to check out this historic place if you are in Berlin.

Quiet Retreat in Berlin

This is a fabulous setting for a great visit to Berlin. There were 5 of us and we all loved it.

This accommodation is quite and spacious and offers a very updated setting in a heritage building. We were close to the metro (subway/ underground) - less than 5 minutes to walk and close walking distance to some significant museums and great restaurants. We were a bit surprised by the request for a damage deposit and were not sure how that would work, but it was returned efficiently following our stay - so that all worked out. For European accommodations the bedrooms were very spacious - and comfortable. There was everything we needed in the way of dishes and cutlery. Breakfasts were made easy with coffee and tea makings available. The owners were very helpful in providing information about restaurants and making recommendations that turned out to really enhance our Berlin experience.

Berlin is fantastic and the flat was great.

First of all, the picture is not of our property - I believe there are 2 different ones which is a little confusing. That said, we had a lovely stay in a clean, well-equipped and spacious apartment that was quiet and had wonderful bedding - never slept better. Large windows let in plenty of light and the living room/dining room/ kitchen were a wonderful place for our group of four to gather. The host was aware that we were celebrating milestone birthdays and presented a vase of roses and a bottle of wine. How could we not be all smiles. Nino is lovely and kind. The rules of the house are a bit much but I suppose they find it necessary to write things down. Nino gave us a list of restaurants that were on the mark perfect. The only trouble we had was at self-check in. It is a clever system, but we, with 3 Phd's between us were tested. True we were suffering from a long flight and many time zones, but it would be best to be met in person. We stayed a week and could have stayed longer. We became quite familiar with the neighborhood and how to get around by the end of our stay, but is one week in Berlin really enough?

Nice apt in a bit of a run down neighborhood.

This apt is very nice and the location is convenient but the surrounding neighborhood was sketchy- also does not have air conditioning and is up several flights of stairs without a lift.
