This was the perfect, private getaway! Blake’s communication before and throughout our stay was great. The cabin was so clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything necessary. We enjoyed our time walking the trails, kayaking and having bonfires. Hearing wildlife at night was peaceful, but seeing deer and turkey so close by was awesome. We would love to come back again!

Thank you for your positive review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come back soon!
This was a last-minute trip. Blake was great with communication; he accepted my reservation the evening before he went out of town himself so had to scramble to get the cabin ready for me. (Thank you!)The cabin was as described, the pictures are accurate. Note: it's at the end of the road; my GPS tried to tell me I was there before I actually got there! The cabin was great; it was obvious to me that the owner stays there. Everything worked. The kitchen was great; the utensils, cookware, and towels were new or nearly new. The fridge is a bit on the small size only if you plan to bring enough food for the entire trip (and you cook). I loved the island counter and the huge sink! I only used one bed and it was plenty comfortable. The cabin was warm enough when it was cool and cool enough when it was hot. The best part, though, is the QUIET. I loved looking out the living room windows and sitting on the porch. (I recommend bringing binoculars.) In the 3 days I was there, I saw a huge hawk buzz the porch several times, 5 turkeys, 8 deer in the side yard, and lots of ducks. And OMG, the stars! There are hiking paths but I just wandered the road and found deer, turkey, and coyote tracks. Yes, the cabin is away from everything, but there is a gate across the end of the road that locks. I'm an older woman who was there by myself and felt perfectly safe.I needed a short break from everything/everyone and to soak in some peace. My stay here was so perfect. Thanks!
