While the room did look like the pictures, a lot of the things were just older, used, outdated. I didn’t realize this because the listing was new, I thought everything in the room would be new as well. The room was very clean. However, there was a strong odor of cigarette smoke from the curtains and chair. Host was very prompt and had their cleaner come to replace the curtains. Host was extremely helpful great communication, and gave all the details I needed. The location is at the Lafayette hotel in Los Angeles. Lots of things within walking distance. On the first floor, there is some type of nightclub. Multiple nights there would be loud music until 4 AM. This didn’t bother me because I’m used to city living, but I could see how this would make some people want to leave early.Parking is horrendous. During the day, it’s easy to find parking but after 9 PM you will be walking at least three blocks away, all street parking. I would stay again if the price was lower however I do feel I was overcharged for the quality of the site.
