About Stephen and Rebekah

Stephen and Rebekah split time between their home in Seattle and their home in Revelstoke. While they used to consider Seattle their home, they are quickly becoming more and more Revelstokians. Sometimes, their kids decide to join them. Revelstoke is a magic combination of people, place, and environment, and they feel excited and lucky to be part of the community.

Stephen and Rebekah purchased this house in 2014

Why Stephen and Rebekah chose British Columbia Rockies

A 4-seasons home in the mountains to use and share with friends has been a lifelong dream. Revelstoke is a truly unique place combining friendly people, heritage personality, perfect weather for deep, dry snow, beautiful outdoor scenery featuring endless peaks and water, and outdoor activities to enjoy all year long. The Roost building project took over a year to deliver a unique architecture, floorplan, and interior design that feels very comfortable and nurturing for us. We love to share this feeling and our unique home with guests that choose to vacation with us.

What makes this house unique

Full of cool salvaged and vintage finds.

Eco friendly house with low VOC finishes, natural cleaning solutions, hypoallergenic down pillows and comforters, and wood floors. Great for allergy sufferers!!

Fully equipped kitchen to support the traveling chef.

New Years Winter Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to have The Roost for the week over New Years, and I couldn't imagine a more perfect house and location for our group of 6. The house had everything you needed and more, the beds were amazing, and the hot tub was incredible. We were able to host my family for some delicious home cooked holiday meals and had an epic snowball fight after with my nephews. The property was perfectly located and nice and private. Perfect for relaxing and easy access to the hill. Stephen and Rebekah were amazing hosts and Keri looked after us so well. She even arranged for us an unforgettable New Years party that we will never forget. I sincerely hope we can make it back again for another weeks!

Fantastic property

  • 5 of 5

This is by far the best equipped property we have ever stayed in. Everything was beautifully presented, comfortable and clean. There was nothing we could think of which was missing. Revelstoke was a lovely town with great people. Keri and Stephen were helpful and engaged but never intrusive. Highly recommended

When we travel, we want a well-stocked and maintained property, so we really try to extend this approach to our guests. We're glad you enjoyed your time in our friendly town of Revelstoke, and we hope to see you again.

A Must Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had such an incredible time at the Roost over the September long weekend. We love Revelstoke in the winter but may love it more in the summer now! The Roost accommodated 3 couples comfortably, the decor should be featured in a magazine and the hot tub and lounge area were amazing after an epic day of mountain biking and hiking. Stephen, Rebekah and Keri really went above and beyond making sure everything was just right. We all can't wait to come back! Thank you again!

Well stocked house - great for families!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed here in July and had a great time seeing all the sights in Revelstoke! Our kids are 3, 6, and 8 and we all enjoyed the amenities the house provided. Everything was very clean and modern and we had plenty of space to spread out. This was the best stocked house that we have ever stayed in - all of the cookware and staple ingredients for cooking were provided. We really enjoyed relaxing in the large hottub and hiking on the mountain trails that start right in the backyard of the house. If you're there in the summer, I would definitely recommend riding the Pipe Mountain coaster at the ski resort, and checking out some of the great hiking at nearby Mount Revelstoke National Park. Thanks for the great stay!

Owner's Response: Hi Dan - Rebekah, Keri, and I loved meeting and interacting with your family. It was great to host you and have the Roost be your base camp for both activities and family time. I want to thank you for how well you cared for our home while visiting with us! We're glad you appreciated the kitchen and house stocking levels. Our goal is to make sure you have what you need for that special vacation meal. You're right - the Revelstoke Mountain Coaster has been a fun and popular addition this Summer. And, we love Mt Revelstoke National Park too! We hope to see you on a future visit!

Snowboarder's Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Our 8 days stay at the Roost was beyond expectations.

We've been taking a trip out West for the past 6 years now and it was our first time in Revelstoke, traveling all the way from Montreal.

This is by far the best trip we had thus far.

The accommodation is stunning and magnificently designed and Kerri, the concierge, is aways there to suggest things to do and places to go (if you are so inclined).

We are hooked and are looking forward to coming back next year.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort
Car: recommended

Revelstoke is an outdoor adventurer's paradise, featuring a HUGE set of four season activities. In the winter, Revelstoke Mountain Resort features lift, cat, and heli operations on the largest lift serviced vertical drop in North America. Heli ski outfits are abundant in the area, as are backcountry skiing opportunities. Snow conditions are a perfect combination of deep and dry snow. World-class snowmobiling is available on nearby Boulder Mountain. Need a break for your sore quad's while you are visiting? Then have a blast and take a curling lesson then play a game with your friends, or try your hand at an open mic night, or maybe go 6 pin bowling in a swanky bowling alley, take a great ferry ride across arrow lake to take a dip in the mineral baths at Halcyon Hot Springs or nearby natural springs.

When the snow melts, the Revelstoke area features a huge variety of world class hiking, in our backyard, or on Mt Revelstoke or one of the many nearby peaks, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, and water activities.
